Isolated Pigmonn, Round 3

Bruce shoots two more bullets at his pigmonn target. (#11) The ork takes the second round square in the chest, and he drops to the ground! (9pt. dmg. – DEAD!)

Kurot steadies his rifle and fires three rounds with lighting speed! Two of his bullets impact the pigmonn (#12); one in the upper chest, the other in the face! The ork tumbles to the side, joining his his comrade in Boarsingular – The Pigmonn Afterlife! (22pt. dmg – DEAD!)

Frank witnesses the last moments of the pigmonn stragglers as he makes his way towards the scene. (Frank is 260 yards from the battle zone)

Silvestri summons his psychic powers and heals some of Blixx’ combat damage. (HEAL 8)

Blixx rummages through the segregated piles of pigmonn battle loot. He finds a small book from the leader outlining (in Pigmok) watch schedules, disciplinary actions and task assignments for the troops. An inventory of rations confirms the location of a supply base about 50 miles to the north, inside the territory of the Confedorksy. The only clue he finds about the group’s mission or orders is several references to 'raid and plunder for strategic planning'.

Frank pockets the 5 empty shell casings recovered from the pigmonn. After a few minutes, he is able to put on the leader’s chainmail armor and fit it properly to his body build. Frank’s AC is now 15, I will update his character sheet

The sun is low on the horizon, so you will have to prepare a camp for the night.

The Long Route, Day 96-98 out of Loge Thantos, Day 6-8 out of Hagalton

Fully rested and laden with the pigmonn loot, you proceed east on the Long Route towards Hagalton and a payout for your cargo. Silvestri’s body density sets the pace, a steady and relaxing gait more than comfortable for your beasts of burden. After a while, it becomes almost unbearable compared to the previous week’s travel rate. The reduced march makes you feel vulnerable and exposed, especially with the amount of payload being hauled. Several of you make a mental note to fulfil the psionist’s desire to procure a mount.

During the third day of travel, you see a group of three people walking north, out of the Gam’A Zone, towards the Long Route. At first, only casual attention was necessary, due to their location about 2 miles away. But, as you continued to move east, it became apparent that the trio was adjusting their travel vector to insure an intercept with your band. They are just over a mile away, too far to discern any details about them or their intent.

Silvestri feels bad that he is slowing them up so much and suggests that if they dumped some loot so he could ride in the wagon then he would be more than willing to take the hit from his cut.

As he sees the the others approach he reaches out with his empathy power to try and read their intent:

Silvestri eyes the approaching group, still a mile away. Unable to tell from this distance who may be in charge, he lets his mind wander until he selects one of the individuals. (Random) Those near the psionist watch as his face blurs and transforms into a blue-skinned dwarf with a yellow beard. Silvestri concentrates and focuses on his intent and core feelings.
