"There's something down there," Grim says, pointing, "but we'll have to break down this wall first. Let's get these bodies moved back to the entrance, and regroup. Maybe we'll come back this way and bust down this wall. This was where we got jumped by two of those walking dead things and some enormous beetles..." He pauses for a while, staring off into space, then wipes his eyes and sniffs a bit. "Come on, let's go."

So, back to Room 1, rest a bit, then figure out how to haul the bodies up out of the pit.

Not sure if RC is having issues or waiting for us to do something or what, so in the interests of moving this along...

We start trying to haul the bodies up, however tedious it is. Probably put Gunnar and Willie up top, along with Daryll and Cisneros.

Grim and the rest who are not tying the rope around the corpses as they haul them up will guard the doorway. If they see anything, they'll shout and get ready to fight.

Torvid will work to get the bodies hauled up. Themble and Mal will assist in guard duty. If needed, Mal will attempt to climb up, playing rope out behind him as he does.

Okay, sort of a dilemma here. Cisneros needs to spend a few weeks recuperating (I hope), and Daryll needs to give that mace/book to Jed... But all of the zeroes are at 8xp, so do we stay and try to level everybody up before we head out?

I certainly wouldn't mind. Well, unless it results in the death of my remaining three characters. Would the idea be that most of the characters hauled the corpses up and will return to town with those that need healing or have other things to do, and the rest of us stayed down below?

Grim says "let's take the bodies back to town, split the coins we have, and parcel out that bracelet we found."

Off they go back to town, it's probably going to be a pain in the butt carrying the corpses. If it's looking like too dark to start out today, will camp for the night and start in the morning.

How far away was the town? Could we send a couple people back to get a horse cart? We can then send back the dead and the few who need to heal/do other actions while the rest of us go back down to get a couple more XP.

So, if I understand correctly, Jonas and Willem are going to cross the moor alone, and then return with a horse cart, and possibly some other tools? You have been in the Barrowmaze for a relatively short time - there is still plenty of time to get to the village of Helix before nightfall....or, at the very worst, night will fall far closer to Helix than to the barrows.

Assuming success, are they then going to head out to the barrows in the dark, or are they going to wait until morning?

I'd suggest they return in the morning, giving them enough of the loot to get the supplies we need.
