Because of the witchlights, no one has lit a torch or lantern. Does LL pull one from his pack and light it (assuming he has one) or try something else? Thanks.

Hi Urson,
A character can only move 1" after casting (or after attacking in combat).
And a character can safely move 1" in combat without giving his enemy the free opportunity attack for fleeing a melee. So Maskelyn casts and backs up 10 feet.

Hey Star, just noticed something and wanted to clarify: the 10' x 10' room between rooms 10 and 12 is the egg chamber, which is already overrun by the cyborgs. So you can't dip your pole into an egg font and attack from the second rank. Sorry.
Your attack roll missed anyway, so the result is the same. But wanted to be clear.

Likewise Urson: Maskelyn is already in the white octagon room (room 10) so he can't flee south and hide among the eggs. Thanks!

I'll be busy for the next several weeks. I'm figuring they best I can possibly hope for is an IC post once a week if that, but please NPC Jeojand whenever you have to, rather than waiting. Thanks.

FYI, after Jeojand determines what makes these hybrids tick, I'm hoping to crack one's skull open to see if it's got more brain or machine in there, and if it's brain, he'll try waking and Friending one too. If it works one of these borgs might make a good source of information.
