Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk II
Zombie Odilo just needs to cast Enlarge on himself, have it go awry, and become a giant. Then you can go around cracking demon skulls!
Seriously, though, losing a high-level mage would be a huge loss. We definitely need to Raise him (unless Odilo has a properly signed and filed Do Not Ressurect order activated).

Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Unfortunately for Odilo, the DNR is suspended when on an adventure, just like in real life if you go to the OR.

Thanks, Ed.
Everyone, please welcome Rusty Tincanne to the game. He has agreed to take over Odilo, if he survives an attempt to raise him from the dead. If Odilo doesn't survive, we'll probably have to create a new PC right quick.

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk II
Hi all! Thanks for having me. I've been lurking around this thread since the beginning, so I'm pretty up to date, though I might forget a few details.
Thanks to GW for letting Odillo go. I knew (from reading along) that he is an old, reincarnated character, so it means a lot that you'll let another person play him. I hope to do the character justice.
Zhym: you can go ahead and roll shock, etc.

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk II
Rusty, would you like to make the resurrection check roll to see if your new PC lives?
Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk II
I'm going to house-rule away the requirement that a person brought back with the Raise Dead spell needs bed rest for a full day for each day spent dead. All it would do in this game is slow things down. Instead, the target of a Raise Dead spell returns at 1 HP (regardless of the cause of death or HP at the time of death) but is fully capable of acting.
Also, dying gives a convenient excuse for personality change. Rusty, play him however you like.

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk II
As long as he isn't evil, right?
Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk II
Evil would not be an acceptable choice for this game, no.
Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk II
I have two different community band concerts this week, a dress rehearsal, and—oh, yeah—my day job. So I may not be updating this week.
Also, please welcome Cwreando to the game. His PC will pretty much fall right in with no explanation (or a silly one). He's been waiting patiently for months while I tried to find a good way to bring in his PC. But when I brought Rusty in to play Odilo, it didn't make sense to keep Cwreando waiting. So, screw plausible reasons to bring the PC in. Let's just do it.

Thanks Zhym.
I hope my character can help the rest of you complete your adventure.
