As you approach the carcasses, you both notice them begin to move about, not like they are about to stand up but more like they are moving slightly from side to side.

Loch

Loch moves forward very cautiously, Javelin and Shield at the ready. He will stop once he has figured out what they are.

Hradian

Keeping his awareness as wide as possible, the rogue pads his mace, on the ready. Careful Loch, he says.

Flynn

Flynn has remained on the path, readying his bow. Maybeso de rats inside be makin' dem dance, huh?

Though Flynn is unable to see from his position along the path, Loch sees that the bard is correct. A number of normal sized rodents swarm in and out of the carcass. Some stop and take notice of Loch, standing on their hind legs and even squeaking in warning as he approaches their claimed territory.

Starting to search the area for tracks and sign, staying clear of the cattle/rats. "This is very bad, we need to make some progress soon."

Flynn

The bard holds his place, keeping a lookout while the others search and examine. He begins humming, then singing a song about a luckless mason's misadventures with a barrel of bricks.

"The barn sounds like a good spot to check." Loch heads for the barn if he didn't find anything near the cattle.

Though there is a barn in the distance, you are only half way to the property you were at the previous day. This is a different property. The home and barn here are a farmers property. The one you were on yesterday had a windmill.
