Character Creation

We are using the 1ed AD&D PHB or OSRIC if you don't have access to the original book. No Unearthed Arcana. For simplicity no evil PCs. All characters can take max starting gold for their characters as well as max hit points. At this time we are not using half-orc or gnome characters. The other races are all available. Ability scores will be 4d6 six times, place them where you like. No ability score exchanges. If you have more than two scores below 9, re-roll all your ability scores. I am using racial level limits, this is a PbP game so I don't think that will affect much. MUs will start with read magic, detect magic and 4 other spells in theis spellbook. I will generate spellbooks randomly as finding spells is a major reason for wizards to adventure. Multi class characters are restricted to 2 classes.

This is looking solid, I got fiddly with equipment and paid 15gp for a namesake hunting horn. My only question would be are Guard Dogs or any of the BTB animals fair for purchase?

Looks like decent stats for a Druid or Cleric; I'd say go with whatever floats your boat more!

I've cooked up a paladin. I played tons of 1e back in the day, but this is my first 1e character in a while. As such, if anyone has any suggestions, or if I've missed anything, I'd welcome any feedback.

I don't know if it was intentional; but I keep getting a chuckle out of a Paladin named Hefnir (I keep seeing Hugh Hefner in my head; in shining armor!)

Two Paladins, a Druid and a Fighter.....anybody want to play a Thief or Mage?

Questions...

• Are 3" x 4" slate, chalk, and charcoal available? How much will they cost?
• War dogs? Y/N? BtB cost or something custom?
• Hirelings, even non-combatants? How much?
• Spellbook...do I have to carry it? Or is there someplace I can store it safely?

And why does my character sheet keep blanking out?
