Episode 7: Iron Door, revisited

Location: Red Door
After getting Quinn up on his feet, the group gets up the next day determined to make a beeline for the main entrance, hoping to beat any competition to the site.
Along the way, they pass the camp. The mercenaries there are in good spirits, but they warn you that the workers at the tower construction site are scared by visits they've had from the wolf pack you saw earlier. They tell you that they've been sending shifts up to defend the workers, but they will need more men to defend two sites, especially if one is plagued by wolves.
The workers, when you get to the tower site, have a lot of the structure built, but it will take a few more days. They don't complain, but you can see that they have people watching the bushes for threats, and are prepared to run and hide in the building's shell.
The ape man is not in his tower when you pass by.
As you go higher, Quinn notices something up in the sky, far away. A Griffon! Watching it, it appears to have a rider on its back. It takes no notice of you, though the rider seems to be surveying the area.
Finally, you get up to the doors, which are closed but don't seem to be sealed or locked.

"I think every 6th visit is nothing but treasure, so this should be treasure visit. Do we want to move camp to the tower site to reduce the strain on the mercs?"

Torgyr looks north and then east. He scratches his beard.
"Let's take the most direct route, straight eastward. Less time taken, plus if we run into trouble, we can double back into the Orc room and bar the doors."
By Orc room, he means Room 2. So, we head from there to the round room that once housed the masks to the T intersection and then turn north to the Iron Door. Unless there are objections, or course!

What do you guys remember of tricks and traps this way. Poison gas comes to mind and your encounter with black skeletons.

The only trap between here and the iron door was in the mask room. We took all of the masks.

Torgyr listens to the door to the guardroom (room 3) and hears nothing.
Opening it, he quickly smells the telltale odor of rat, and there's the sound of several rats moving within the room.
