A tiny one at a bed & breakfast in Vermont called Chaos In The Valley, which is a play upon the name of the larger fall Vermont gaming convention Carnage on the Mountain.

Speaking of which, I wonder what I'm going to run at Carnage this year. Maybe both ways into the Forbidden City? Aboleths and Yuan ti oh my!

Cool. I love going to gaming conventions. Enjoy!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I'm back from the convention, which turned out to be all the same people as last year. I ran my B/X adventure "The Desecrated Graveyard". I really need to finish typing it up and get it hosted online.

I've noticed that after I get back from a gaming convention, it takes me a few days to return to my pbp games. Sorry for the hold up, just taking a mental break.

We can possibly go to the chapel room, normally one about in hospices or look into them at Mr Armitages'.

Jasmine, not fussed. She is curious regarding Mr Meriweather wanting her to recant spells and if course it might them spookily bind her to whatever, she doesn't want a feeling of dark shadows following her around.

Believe it or not, it started as a one page dungeon. My original notes:

Your crazy game-master is thinking about starting up a second pbp here. I wouldn't want it to slow down our game in any way, so I will wait to start it until I have the time.

B/X?

There's just not enough B/X in my life. I even made a point of not examining the OPD you posted, in case it became the basis for a future campaign.

Hi all, on a real life note, my mother-in-law is being told she needs a heart transplant. Do any of you know anyone who has undergone such a procedure? How has it gone for them since?

I'm afraid not. Best wishes to your mother-in-law. That sounds awful.

If reading the journal and translating stuff takes 4 hours, I guess that Jed, Taft and Jasmine didn't sit around the truck cab waiting that long. So tracking back, did we all read and listen in the hospice chapel.

Now Mr Meriweather is dead, and it is probably late afternoon, where do we go eat, stay? Or do we head straight for Mr Armitages' place?

Yes absolutely, there was time for everyone to hear it.

I hope to move the game along tonight, but for now I thought I'd show off my Miskatonic University affiliation. Of course my daughter had to pose for the picture too.

Pods? I don't get it.

Also standing next to me on the subway this morning was a guy wearing a "Miskatonic University, Biology Department" jacket.

There are some very cool stores in Providence that sell all kinds of Lovecraft & pulp fiction bling :)

Hi all, I'm off to Atlanta for a last-minute business trip. I can continue the conversation with Dr. Armitage from my hotel room, but once the party sets off for Ross's Corners, I'll need the rulebook which I'm not bringing with me :)

I'm hoping while I'm in Atlanta to focus on writing more of the Desecrated Graveyard adventure. It has gone beyond the point where it can be played in a 4 hour convention slot, which is partly unfortunate because that's what I designed it for originally, but it does mean the final playtest before publication might well be a play-by-post here.

I also want to get started on a higher level B/X adventure tentatively titled The Dragon's Lost Treasure.
