Realizing he has no chance of helping with this melee, Ciar continues to keep an eye forward down the passage, looking for an ambush from that direction.

Knowing better than to shoot blindly into a pack of his friends, Sparrow holds his fire.
Push them back into the room if you can! They are at a disadvantage if we can keep them bunched up in there instead of dividing our ranks.
He keeps his eye on Ciar, in case the kobolds try to attack on two fronts.

Sylvan readies his wand, waiting to heal those engaged in battle. "Look lively, friends! I will come to your aid as necessary!"

Round 1
"Ambush!" Sorsha shouts as a parade of kobolds begin to reveal themselves emerging from behind an illusionary weall. She drops her torch and pulls loose a second dagger while sending her readied blade spinning at the first kobold, which has also been targeted by Fulp, whom sends the arrow he already had notched at the same target. The blade from Sorsha's dagger sinks into the scaly hide of this initial kobold intruder which yelps in pain before dropping dead.
Immediately behind the ranged attackers, Grim and Leliana ready their weapons and prepare to face the impending onslaught. Sparrow reaches to draw his bow, but thinks better of idea of sending an arrow into melee. "Push them back into the room if you can!" he shouts to those in front; a strategy that can be considered after the window of opportunity to use their ranged weapons has closed. "Look lively, friends! I will come to your aid as necessary!" Sylvan shouts, ready to use the healing wand on those engaged in battle.
Well in front of the attack, Ciar keeps an eye forward down the passage, looking for an ambush from that direction, and not detecting any new immediate threats.
The fact that the first kobold through is killed almost immediately has no affect on the remaining members of the ambush party, as those behind the first step over the motionless form of their companion, as well as Nighttail's corpse, without hesitation. The second kobold rushes forward and lunges at Fulp with a rusty blade, slashing the bowman with a wicked strike. Behind the solo attacker, several thin kobold arms reach out to the fallen bodies cluttering the intersection and pulling them back behind the illusionary wall and out of the way.
A loud, wild grunting noise is heard echoing from further beyond the onrushing hoard of kobolds.

Notes:
Because of the small target, only Fulp and Sorsha are able to engage in melee this upcoming round. Also, because of the extremely tight quarters, all medium-sized party members will suffer a -1 on their to-hit and damage rolls when using melee weapons.

Round 2
The pesky kobold in the lead acts quickly, lashing out at Fulp with its short sword but failing to match its earlier success. Fulp returns with a well-placed strike of his own, slashing the kobold attacker with his long sword and cutting it down. Sorsha attempts to back up towards the previous room with the idol, and bumps into Leliana who's standing idle. The actionless elven maiden backs up a few steps, around the turn, and allows Sorsha some space. The knife thrower takes advantage of this, and backs to the corner, ready to hurl her blades if a target presents itself... which happens almost immediately. A pair of kobolds manage to filter into the hallway -- one over the corpse of their fallen companion and the second in the newly vacated space -- and the first of which turns to face the female blade hurler. Two knives spin through the air at the new target and the first catches the new kobold invader in its shoulder, eliciting a pained yelp, but the creature is able to successfully duck out of the way of the second. The second new kobold turns to face Fulp, who's in the process of switching places with Grim. The wounded sword-wielder feels a healing sensation at his back where Sylvan readily meets him a dose from their healing wand. Sparrow curses his luck for being so far from the action and stows his bow for now. "We could fall back and try to lure them out into a larger area!" calls out to whoever is listening. Sparrow sees what Ciar is doing and decides to help him in his search.
Being somewhat useless as far as the combat goes, he begins probing the northern walls and meets the halfling somewhere in the middle of the next room.
He shouts towards the fighting before he departs.

Where is the torch on the ground ? Was it left in previous room? How much light does Fulp have now that Ciar has walked away with the other torch?

Sylvan stands ready with his scimitar in one hand and wand in the other. He will hold initiative if possible and wait and see how Grim fares this round. If he is wounded, Sylvan will heal him.
