Exit the lake before they arrive these fish things? can Morgi tell if they are natural creatures or magical. If natural perhaps the Druid could speak to them and keep them from attacking at all.
Halo will sense evil when the fish creatures come within his range

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
Wyntar is quick to use his mental commands to get the skyfish into motion. It takes off and heads straight upwards towards the ice layer. The fish men get a little closer and Halo can sense that they are indeed evil. As they approach, you discover that they look a lot like underwater trolls. The skyfish is able to keep a safe distance in front of them as it surfaces.
Just before reaching the ice, the wizard exclaims the magic word "Fil" and a bolt of electricity shoots out of one of the eyes of the skyfish. It sizzles into the ice and blasts a large enough hole for the craft to easily break through. You breach the surface of the lake and fly up into the air, the skyfish easily converting from swimming to flying.
The invisible barrier of the magical craft protects you from the chilling winds as the skyfish circles the magnificent tower, waiting for its next command.

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
Mira is truly amazed, her gaze still down toward the troll-creatures, but her beaming smile reflects her heart soaring as the Skyfish itself. Never in my most bizarre fantasies! She continues watching the trolls. If they pursue she will read from her scroll.
Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
Xano- Readies her bow if lizard creatures continue the pursuit. Are they going to follow us?

"Into the sky, unlikely! The taint of evil rests upon their souls however." the paladin says over the noise of the wind.

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
The sky looks even darker now than when you first entered the tower. The black cloud matter seems to be growing, now completely blotting out most of the daylight.
The trolls don't exit the waters of the lake. The skyfish awaits its next command.

Wyntar thinks back to their last meeting with Jirrock...telepathically he tells the Skyfish to take them in the direction of Tchitchi-kwaaka...We have a rendezvous to make with our friends, I hope they are well!

Blodget, halfling thief:
"B-b-beggin' your pardons, I'm sure! But can we not wish to go directly to the evil Cloud Giant's castle, my lords and ladies?!" a voice trembled from the back seat.

Trotter looks back with a smirk. This is amazing! Too bad we couldn't bag those water trolls, though burnin' the corpses mighta been tough in water.
Hey Wyntar, how fast does this chariot go?

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
The skyfish does not know the way to Tchitchi-kwaaka so it continues to circle the glowing tower. The experience is still quite surreal, especially for the non flyers in the party.
Although it takes little mental effort to command the craft, you still have to give it directions and tell it when to dive, etc.
Its not a taxi!!!

Wyntar commands the skyfish to fly southwest towards the rendezvous point of Tchitchi-Kwaaka.
Mile after mile, the strange flying fish carries you smoothly through the frigid air. Below you and to either side, the snow covered mountain slopes appear dirty and gray beneath the unbroken black clouds. Suddenly, a chilling scream breaks the silence and echoes around the mountains. Looking up, you see several snow demons diving out of the dark clouds towards you.
Actions!
They will be on you in one full round, giving you one free round to prepare or get off missile/spell attacks.

Trotter growls and draws his bow, aims at the largest of the demons and attempts to feather him.
Bow with bracers of archery and dex bonus attack [1d20+3] = 20+3 = 23, dmg [1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4
Bingo!

Halo will fire some arrows at the snow demons as they close.
If we could capture one and charm some information out of it we might have a better chance of locating the castle and knowing its forces
ick three times to highlight an entire string (more about this)

Shortbow [1d20] = 4 : Damage [1d6] = 4 : Shortbow [1d20] = 17 : Damage [1d6] = 4

Mira quickly sparks metal to stone enough to light an ember on one end of her incense twine and begins spinning it over the heads of her party. Stowing the tinderbox she thrusts her free hand into the swirling smoke and grabs it, running her lithe fingers thru it, creating 5 distinct smoke corkscrews, each a different, glowing color. This Hypnotic Pattern she maintains between her companions and the oncoming demons above.
