that does clear some things up...

I say we send a couple to the southwestern corner, and then have the range experts send in a salvo from the eastern window. As they start to run out the southern door, the ambushers will be ready to pick off a few that way.

lol, there was some confusion, not any more.

So, two pronged attack, breech and door. Cis will take the door, melee ready.

That works for me. Francisco will prepare to fire in through the opening in the wall on the east, once the distraction draws them to the southern door...

OMG (as my daughter says) Nunyet will definitely charge into melee if his throwing hammers aren't needed. I read the action thread first and didn't know we were going the two pronged approach.
Now if only we had a wheelbarrow and an Apocalypse cloak...
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

20 lashes with a wet noodle! Ack you are correct.

No wonder when I googled it (because I knew it didn't sound quite right) I couldn't find the quote.

Sheesh, now my 8yo knows the quotes of this movie better than I.

Ok, just to make sure we're all sorted moving forward, are we still agreed on the two group assault? :)

If so, figured instead of cluttering the action thread, we could confirm lists here:

Group A: (moving into the cloister via the southern entrance with red cloaks on)
- Brok
- Cis
- Kurn
- Yarl?

Group B: (fire missile weapons/attack orcs through the breech)
- Francisco
- Nunyet
- Veneficus
Yosef Travathas: High Elf Fighter4/Magic-User3 (rredmond's Pacesetter Games "Legacy of the Unknown" OSRIC Playtest)
Brok Sterling: Human Assassin3 (ToniXX's Incursion into Newiron OSRIC Playtest)
Tanik Tremwoodak: Dwarf Cleric3 (Dave's 1e Skype Game)

DM: home-brew OSRIC "A New Hope to the West" campaign

Fireball... good!!

"Everything."

As long as he can follow up with a charge, your bacon loving cleric has no issues with throwing hammers first. :)

I only have one CLW left, suck down the healing potions if you got 'em. I think we are about to have more company.

I've got a potion and two CLWs. I'll hit Yarl with one or both after this combat.
Pretty sure he's looking poorly, I mean worse than normal ;) , and with a spell I don't really need his permission. :D
Not sure who else is hurting, but I think no one as bad as he.

Francisco is hurting too. I say we burn our cure spells in case we have make a quick exit.
But Nunyet has a potion too if someone is in need.

Francisco will not say no to your CLW. And he will probably drink his potion, as well...

Yarl would usually try to act macho and downplay his injuries in front of everyone and ask for healing quietly on the side but, he is really hurting and will take whatever is offered at this point.
