Hey guys, I just want to say thanks for being here for my inaugural PbP game and I hope that you will have as much fun as I plan on having

"Blue will be used for character dialogue"
Red will be used for character actions
Green will be for Out Of Character small talk or questions towards the GM

Any chance we can reverse those latter two?
The OOC button on the toolbar automatically uses red for OOC conversation, and that seems to be in widespread use on this forum.
What would black be used for if action is another color?
Also, many DMs (though your choice for sure) use green as NPC dialog to separate them from PC dialog during DM summaries.



Have you set up a campaign ID for me to link my pc rolls?
My rolls were fairly decent for straight 3d6

Any house rules or specific items we need to or not need to worry about?

Also, I see weapons, but I don't see anything about bullets. Any ideas how much they cost and weigh?

No special house rules aside from ammunition, you have an unlimited number or bullets but you still have to reload. HOWEVER I will sometimes say that the players have limited ammo or they only have 1-2 reloads left for cinematic purposes, but other than those instances just assume that you will never run out of bullets to throw at people...or shoot I guess, if you want to

So there's no way to retrieve my first score?

I'll let Yam decide which of the two rolls to use then. Yam? (If I don't hear by tomorrow evening, I'll use the linked roll with the 17 in it.)

There is definitely no way to retrieve those scores. It is like randomize function in excel. Once refreshed, the previous values are no longer there.
Also, you can reroll one of those 7's per house rules.

Sorry guys, life struck rather hard this week but I am back on my regular schedule of checking every day.

Tincanne, the weather is currently the end of February so its just about 60-70s the entire time, quite comfortable. The weather for the most part will be nice a dry and only getting warmer and the days longer

Also Tincanne, go ahead and use the roll with the 17 in it, you are allowed to reroll 1 stat

Sorry for the delay, not that it seems this game is seeing much action yet... Anyhow:
Initial rolls: [3d6] = 17[3d6] = 7[3d6] = 13[3d6] = 8[3d6] = 8[3d6] = 7
Reroll one stat: [3d6] = 10

Arranged:
STR 8, secondary
INT 7, tertiary
WIS 17, secondary
DEX 13, primary
CON 10, primary
CHR 8, tertiary

I don't understand the primary, secondary and tertiary trait rules. Is it that the two highest are primary skills, two lowest are tertiary and the two in between are secondary? Or can you choose otherwise? If so, what are the bonuses for having a trait as a primary? The rules seem vague.
Edit: Figured it out and changed the arrangement to suit it.

Also, the die roller isn't working on my computer anymore right now, so I cannot edit the character sheet or roll more. I'll work on it again later.

Received a PM from Yam saying he was waiting on me. So my inventory is done. I left the telescope behind, sadly. I wanted money for a bath and hotel room. And for dynamite should the occasion warrant that.

Anyhow, I'll get the background done this evening so we can start.

I don't mean to sound like an idiot but, I never actually got "in game" confirmation that it was ok to get in this and I don't want to impose if it's not ok so........is it ok if I get in this?

I've got no issue with it but I'm not the GM. I only started posting because I had PM'd Yam about something else and he mentioned we should start playing.

(There was another interested player (from the interest thread) that Yam never replied to either.)

Hi Yam. I am ever so appreciative of anyone willing to GM a game, so please know that I am grateful for setting this up. That said, there is precious little communication going on.

OgreMage has asked a couple times to join and has even created a character. Can he join?
I believe Onlyme and I are waiting for a bit of an update, even if it is to say we are walking down the street toward the saloon.
Who is the player you put in a character sheet for? Are they going to play? Do they know the game has started?
