Grindhelm the Dwarf

"Perhaps a light source can be dropped down to make sure nothing in down there for sure. Or we can throw in the smallest member here." he mumbles the last part with a passing glance to Bruno. "With a rope, we might be able to get down there."

"I don't mind taking a look, with a light source of course. Perhaps tie a rope around my middle just incase I need to be hauled up." says the gnome with a shrug.

Allow me to check for danger first then, Siavel says. He commands his invisible porter to fly down to the bottom of the shaft to have a look around and return to the surface.

Calto, Druid

Now that the water snake has been rendered impotent, the druid will take this break in the action to reach out in friendship to one of the recovering bats.

Casting Animal Friendship. I know this spell only affects one bat. I'm hoping the bat he chooses is close to full recovery. I guess just pick one of them at random?

"So friends... down the shaft or back to the roof to rest again? Poor Azoth looks all tuckered out...."

Azoth Al-Aziz, occultic priest:

Azoth glanced at his bloody heel. "Yes... Humanely euthanizing poor injured bats takes its toll on a man," he said sardonically, if wanly.

Leomar nods in agreement. "We should set a watch schedule and get some rest. This place has been hear for a few centuries...another day won't matter."

Calto, Druid

If the party agrees that it is time to rest, Calto will cast his final cure light wounds on the most wounded party member before settling in to reclaim his spells. If we are moving on at this time, Calto will cast the spell regardless (after the animal friendship spell previously mentioned).

Cure Light Wounds [1d8] = 8

On Leomar, I guess?

The weary adventurers decide it is time to rest. Camp is set, watch established, and healing spell cast. Calto gains a bat-friend.

The room is searched and no exits, secret or otherwise, are found except the well shaft. There is light down there into what appears to be another chamber.

The night passes uneventfully. The next morning the spellcasters recover their magick and divine energies.

The unseen servant finds no danger down the shaft. Secured by rope, the shaft is navigated safely by Bruno first and opens into...
- Feel free to take any actions during the night.
- Please choose new spells on your sheets. Thanks.
