[Zirus - Lizardfolk Aspiring Cleric 0] (MP: 0.5/2) (HP 10/10) (AC: 19)
Actions: Has Waterskins filled, enters

The Lizard Man follows the dwarf into the inn, glad for the opportunity to have his waterskins filled. He flicks his tongue in and out, searching for the taste of pork, making an effort to focus on this aroma instead of any humanoid flavor he might encounter...

Summary
Dinner with the Little Folk

Phlunk trots up to the bar and orders drinks and pork for everyone. The bar/Inn is pretty quiet. Three other patrons are quietly drinking: one at the bar and two at a table in one corner. After Phlunk orders he announces, quite gaily, “Yern meal an’ drink be on me this night gents.” He looks at the existing patrons and points at the party members, “These here adventurin’ typ’ are hear to bust our ghosts.

Everyone, including the bartender give a cheer and come to greet the party.

Filber Treetoe strides up and claps Phlunk on the back, “I knew you were good for something.” He looks at the party and bows, “My name is Filber. Filber Treetoe. I am a baker. Welcome and thank you for helping us. The gods know Brickfoot won’t.” He smiles and tries to shake any hand that will.

Tynan and Etney Gauntletsapper greet the party thanking everyone, including Phlunk. “We have been hoping someone would come and help us,” Tyan says. Pointing at the woman beside him he says, “This is my wife, Etney, we are traders here in Dragons Belch, Just moved here recently. The High Wizard Netheril knows my first uncle’s sister’s husband. We set about hard times in the east and Netheril has promised to give us a new life. So far we have only seen disturbing apparitions, if’n you know what I mean.

Phlunk beams with pride at all the excitement. “Well, now that we’uv bein intorduceed, let us et a bit and get to some merriment beforin’ the bustin’ comes to takin’ yer feet away.” With that he begins moving tables and chairs to make one large banquet table in the center of the room.

What you know so far:
There are ghosts disrupting daily life on the west side of town.
The only business you know of on the west side of town is The Belfrey Tower (inn & pub) (owned and operated by a Human - John Tom) (Everyone made a short stay here when they first arrived at Dragons Belch)

John Tom saunters up at the end to shake everyone's hand and then yells for the bar maids to come out and assist with the seating.

Two Rock Gnome bar maids come running out to take orders and shift tables and chairs around. They smile and wake and gibber up a storm if anyone tries to talk to them. They only speak a few words of common, but understand enough to take and deliver food and drink orders.

[Caiden Cross – Human Rouge 0] (HP: 10/10) (AC: 13)
Action: Business is good?

Caiden is a bit surprised that so many people are working there despite the ghosts, "Oh yes, a banquet! To get us full and ready to be swallowed whole by the ghosts, let's eat and drink and be merry!", he looked around expecting laughs but as usual he heard nothing, his sense of humour is not of this world.

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] (HP:10/10) (AC:11)
Action: Meeting the peasants

Seeker looks at all of the short folk gathering in their presence, trying, and failing, to deliver handshakes and jokes alike. He looks to the party members as one by one they circumvent the matter at hand for food or sending all eyes his way in an obvious manner, a look of betrayal crosses Seekers face for a moment before he gets his response in order, the staff held in his hand begins cackling.

"Hahahahaha!!!!! Looks like someone just got nominated! I wonder this plan has any... shortcomings! Truly such a... small endeavor is no match for the tall stature of Seeker Jy-"

The staff is summarily cut off by a loud smack against the nearby table, a very cross looking Seeker glaring at the wooden face etched into the staff, "We do not speak of names that are not names, understood? And while I permit you to have some words to yourself I feel my patience waning after having to constantly remind a certain piece of kindling that it is a tool to be used by me. Keep your words to a minimum or I shall make good my promise to lock you in a vault with but a mirror placed along the wall so that you have only yourself to stare out for the rest of eternity!"

The staff is quiet for a moment, Seeker then begins to address the small crowd of onlookers, "Now then, Where was I? Ah-"

"Seeker dyes his hair!"

Another glare from Seeker gets the staff to stop talking, a small and quiet snickering emanating from it. Deciding to ignore it for now Seeker continues, "As I was saying, I am known as Seeker Talanador, and these are my companions." He motions and points to each one in turn, "Caiden, Gorthak, Zirus, Gort, and the... resident mascot? Tobias" Once initial introductions are out of the way Seeker loudly claps his hands together to get attention back towards himself, "Now then, I am sure all of those here are quite famished, I propose we eat as we speak. Namely I am looking for any and all information regarding these spirits and specters that we are to get rid of. Are they nameless abominations, floating about and rattling chains in the dead of night? Or are they perhaps long dead villagers, walking the streets in search of their loved ones and possessions?" Seeker gives each small patron an expectant look.

Tobias watches everyone with interest. It's been a great deal of time since he was around so many unique individuals, especial ones who weren't trying to kick him or lock him in a cell. He sticks close by Zirus' side though and says little unless approached.

Summary
Dinner with the Little Folk

The bar maids whirl around in a flurry bringing pork, potatoes, and ale to any who ask, keeping every plate heaped with delicious grub. Phlunk chatters up a storm to everyone in sight; mostly gossip about Brickfoot, the self-appointed ruler of Dragons Belch, and how he has done little to support the local economy or renew the city since Damara’s fall. The Gauntletsapper’s shake their heads in disgust and tell of how Netheril is looking to open new trade routes to the rest of the world and how they are to help build the new distribution and trade center facing the ocean. Caiden makes an attempt at humor but for some reason no one catches his meaning so he helps himself to food and drink at the chatty Phlunk’s expense. Gorthak defers comments to Seeker and joins Caiden and the others at the feast.

Zirus speaks in his snake tongue of devouring and lesser folks, but most of the company is less inclined to sensible speech and just look confused. Phlunk catches his drift quickly and keeps a wary eye on the Lizardman, as do the Gauntletsapper’s. Since he poses no immediate threat and Phlunk escorted him in they don’t currently seem too overly concerned. Tobias wanders around eating and drinking sticking close to Zirus’ side.

Seeker’s staff on the other hand gets a bit excited by all of the commotion and attempts to take center stage. The room gores quite for a moment as Seeker gives his strange talking staff a summery rap on the nearest table and proceeds to inform everyone, with a loud clap of the hands, that they should continue eating and drinking and that he expects a good deal of info concerning the “nameless abominations” threatening the city. The crowd looks at Seeker in temporary dismay at his sudden rise to power and then inundates him with chatter about rumors, sightings, and nefarious goings on.

Filber Treetoe: “Why just the other day Wismer Fertop was chased right out of the gardens by an evil spirit. Her hair done turned white on her and she screamed for three days straight. They had to put her in a cell and chain her to the wall just so she wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Piera: “Those things come out at night, a glowin’ and cackling’. like devils and demons they are!

Posie chirps up: “John Tom saw one. Just yesterday. Flew over the roof he said it did.
Everyone looks at John Tom and he nods agreement.

John Tom: “looked lak a horse with no head er tail.

Phlunk finally interjects and says, “Them things have been showin’ up all over this side of town. Runnin’ women and children out their own homes, killed several folks, found’em stark white dead with fear they did. Some says they come from the old Griffon Manor out near the cliff face. No tellin’ ifern it’s true or not. I wouldn’t mind takin’ a look see in that’ol place. Been boarded for many a year. Some says it were home of Gunter Weiss, a hermit of soorts I gussin’. Therns prolyl other stories bout that place too ifn’ you were to dig a piece. I knew of a lubry had a book or two on it if yern interest’. Take ya ther maself I would." Phlunk and the rest look at Seeker and wait for his reply. They seem to be at the edge of their seats with anticipation, eating up every word and gesture like there’s nothing more important in the world.

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] (HP:10/10) (AC:11)
Action: Speaking With the Peasants

Seeker sits with an imperious pose, listening to the smaller folk prattle on about sightings, his gaze gets more focused as Phlunk decides to make themselves useful and indulge the group in their first lead of this inane ghost hunt. He nods to the small gully dwarf before responding to the gathering as a whole, "My companions and I thank you all for your sightings and information, I am sure that not all of it was useless and should help in narrowing down the cause of such disturbances so that we may ultimately banish whatever rift in the ethereal space is causing these apparitions to flow through undeterred." Turning his gaze more so on Phlunk he continues, "While I am sure all information given is worthwhile I am more inclined to follow yours first, you seem to have an aura of magical energies about you and as such I am sure that you may have a more noteworthy opinion on what has been happening here. Let us finish this food and drink and then we can head out, I believe that leaving then would afford us the best time to witness such specters."

Summary
Dinner with the Little Folk

Phlunk nods at Seekers speech and says, “A right pert choice ye make yerng lad.” He eats a bit of pork while attentively smiling and listening to other questions. “Oooooooh yoin’s don’t know what thet place be, no? Oh whut a stery it is. Luv I tel ye it was. Ya se, youg Gunter he be lovin’ a wee lass names Erika an’ theyin’ took ta marriage. Long tom agoo. Many age it be now, longin’ fer Netheril come hereabouts ah think it were’n. Sumpin treble hapin’ know un knews the hull sery though. Now yer’n give propur cerse to appees muh fancy.

Phlunk laughs real big and then gets serious. “Thern ghosts is no playin’ I telee. Tese be serial matt.” He eats a bit more pork and drinks a bit.

The barmaids give Gort a weary eye or two but generally smile at his large dark black axe.

An hour goes by in this manner and the party finds no real details as to the nature of the place or its former occupants, just rumors and sightings. Phlunk downs more mugs of beer than Gort has ever seen in all his travels. He downs one final mug, spilling half of it on his big pot belly and announces in grand fashion, “Letee games beginee gents, ladees, and dams. I hearbee pronunce uhficeeal bgin uh duh eedventures’s” Then he falls over and passes out.

John Tom brings a pail of water and douces the Gully Dwarf but it doesn’t seem to make much difference. The party, for the moment is doomed to wait for their tour guide to wake from his drunken stupor. Outside a thunderstorm is passing by dropping a gentle rain on the streets of Dragons Belch

Another hour drags by. Everyone has had their fill and are beginning to get drowsy when a loud cry issues from outside the pub. The screaming gets louder and louder until the door of the pub suddenly flies open revealing a portly female Gully Dwarf with stark white hair. She runs into the center of the pub screaming, “Save me! Save me!” and then falls to the floor unconscious. Upon closer inspection a large red blotch covers one half of the Gully Dwarf’s face along with a bit of clear slimy goo. Her breathing is labored but steady. Her cloths are mildly damp.

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] (HP:10/10) (AC:11)
Action: To action!

Seeker, who had eaten and drank sparingly as he was wanting to leave soon, grabs his staff and stands up; making his way towards the now fallen Dwarven Woman(?). He kneels down beside her and looks her over, grabbing his silver dagger and scraping a sample of the goo from her body.

He calls out to the occupants of the Inn in a highly authoritative voice, "Quickly now! Grab the still living body and bring her to that table, setting her down so that I may look her over in more detail." He waits for a moment before continuing with a glare towards the others, "Did I just speak to myself?! Are my words lost in the aether of the void?? I have given instructions and they are to be followed through! Now pick your jaws up off the floor and make yourselves useful!" He points to the trader husband small thing whatever it is, "You! Do you know this woman? It is a woman correct? I can never tell, they all look alike... I must know of who she was before this incident, was her hair always this color of white? Does she always smell of sweat and regret?! I require answers!"
