The floor wall ceiling are all silver. You immediately fall and just barely grab onto the door frame to pull yourself out of the room.

Brother Isaachar. Cleric and 'aide':
Isaachar has been fiddling about in his bag at the back of the group in the shadows, the group hearing him change from bouts of orc words "hmm its' in here somewhere..." And verses of religious chorus in unknown tongues. He pulls out a small silhouette of an icthus style fish with legs on an old barnacle encrusted brooch. Pinning it to his chest he whispers, "Deep calls to deep . I can almost taste the sea salt in the air."
An inspection of the passage behind will find the blanket roll casually tossed aside along with an Illuminati holy symbol, a silver triangle with all seeing eye wrought in the middle.
Isaachar still holds the trident, caressing it softly in his scarred hands. "Lead me safe through these troubled waters and I will tattoo a pair of gills behind my ears in thanks giving....neptunus haddockus, mantra of mantas, cthullu".
Seeing the group stare he will stand and say, " perhaps the room if full of illusion, mirrors of silver to slip and slide us away? "

The coin flips on its side but still slides quickly into the pit and out of sight. The silvery floor looks like it gives no traction, very slippery & smooth.

You hear the coin fall into the pit with a metallic clink.

Riagrin, Halfling Thief
Tie a rope around my waist and I'll go check out the gap. We know there is a bottom. Let's see what it looks like.

Riagrin, Halfling Thief
Just feed out a little rope at a time so I don't fall into the gap and get hurt, and whatever happens don't let go of the rope! If I tug twice on the rope, pull it back. After making sure that the rope is securely tied around her waist and held by more than one person, Ria will step onto the silver floor.

Riagrin immediately falls and slides towards the pit. You just cant get any traction at all, and you are the nimblest of your companions. You slide towards the pit and fall over the edge, the rope pulls tight and you see the pit is 10 feet deep and has several sharp spikes coated with a black tar-like substance. (poison?)

Goroth starts pulling on the rope to try and pull Riagrin back up.

The diminutive door-unlocker pulls twice on the rope. Pull me back! Pull me back! she yells!

The whole room radiates "trap". But Riagrin already found that out.

Bucyrus, human monk
At first, Bucky is confused about how to get past the pits in the hall. A thought occurs to him, and he excitedly turns to Asaahn.
"Say, do you have any more of that ... ice magic? Can you lay down a sheet of ice on the floor?" Bucky hopes his excitment over a potential Slip 'n Slide isn't too apparent from his facial expression.
