Korin reminds the others "Careful where you stand and how ya press them buttons too." as he flashes his midly singed hand up to show the others.

Re: Chapter 03: into the Ridge
If I've understood the consensus to be that Ox attempts to push in the whole of the right plaque as one unit (i e not any individual buttons) with the tip of his sword, while noone at all does anything to the left plaque, the following happens:
nothing.
The right plaque itself as a whole is an unmoveable object (unlike the eyes/button - which are moveable), set in the wall - it does not budge under Ox's sword .
Meanwhile, Korin searches for traps in the passage area just in around the opening; the floor as well as the walls, up to as far as he can reach (approx 6 ft up). Result:
nothing.

Re: Chapter 03: into the Ridge
Korin "Well so far no traps located lads." the dwarf moves down the passage about another 10' and checks again what he can reach without aid.

Re: Chapter 03: into the Ridge
Ox- Korin which button did you push when you got burnt? I will stay at the right plague and you get yourself a longer probe so you do not burn your self again. And work on the left plague. We will start with the mouth.

Re: Chapter 03: into the Ridge
When Ox and Korin press the lowest buttons on each plaque at the same time,
Do Ox and Korin keep buttons pressed for a while, or let go instantly ?
- a 2 foot flame shoots out from the mouth on the left plaque
- a burst of foul-smelling gas shoots out from the mouth on the right plaque
Do Ox and Korin keep buttons pressed for a while, or let go instantly ?
