The link above is a pretty nice site > you get frequent emails about newly released special edition bourbons, whiskey, scotch, etc. Some are really pricy, but others are quite affordable. Gives you a chance to see what's coming out and might be in your area, and if not, you can order it.

Hmmm...All three current expeditions are led by 1st level elves. Conspiracy theorists are on high alarm.

Congratulations to the Dwarf-Tomb Team! 2 dead, 2 critically injured, 2 injured and one healthy and whole :)

At least one of the conscious ones is a cleric, which makes the current predicament a LOT less dangerous than it would be otherwise...

Ghouls: Munch, crunch, num, num...A perfect last meal, we can finally be at rest.
Buryl: You could have just asked nicely. I would have given you the elf if you would have told us you would be committing suicide afterwards.
I laughed.

I swear it's a meritocracy--it's just that elves are naturally better.

Harold would be happy if it were only a literal hornet's nest. :P

West Marches Threat Assessment (as reported by the all-seeing ghost of Thisby Queller)

Threat Level Alpha
(Petrifying?) Dragon
Goblin Army (Armies?)
Black Smoke aka "Njord Svarld"

Threat Level Beta
Mangore
Tree-Witch
Seesil

Pretty preliminary, I confess. Mangore did drop a little in my estimation after the last appearance, but for all I know Seesil is THE DARK LORD. I'm sure there's lots of other terrible stuff out there, and we won't know it 'til it kills us...

The petrifying dragon didn't burn the remnants of a dwarf clan out of their home or lead to Lars's death. Mangore is still threat #1 as far as I'm concerned.

I'm actually really curious now about visiting that arboreal-enchantress, and even Seesil (but not without a Level 10 party that can smite him into oblivion if he tries that freaky magic-roofie spell again!)

I hope it's not a spoiler to indicate that the black wolf's intelligence makes him a more formidable threat than his probable actual power level.

And that, in my opinion, makes him more dangerous than the goblins in the short term because it's a little unpredictable. Of course, one can make the same argument about Seesil the Only-Once-Appearing in spades.
