OOC 5 - Slow and Steady...
Re: OOC 5 - Slow and Steady...
Not sure if that question was for me or Hollis, but players should just post actions based on common sense, rules and the information in the game thread.

What's up with you guys complaining about rolling 20s on saving throws?
Re: OOC 5 - Slow and Steady...
Totally thinking the same thing! Do you lot wanna fail or something?Magnus wrote:What's up with you guys complaining about rolling 20s on saving throws?
Greys Campaign.
Re: OOC 5 - Slow and Steady...
My guess was that people are confusing the saving throw with what's probably a Dexterity check.

That is my bad, I totally confused the roll. I did what Zhym said, I was thinking it was a roll like a dex check.

Re: OOC 5 - Slow and Steady...
I was a bit confused I thought we needed to roll the saves plus an additional d20 roll assuming it was dex or something to that extent. I didn't however sweat my roll out comes since I knew Magnus would tell me what ones pass and failed. To be a puny person I just rolled with it.

Ah...I see...FWIW, I like to always keep high rolls on d20s to be good.
Re: OOC 5 - Slow and Steady...
You have to have some low rolls be good, otherwise you never get to use your low-rolling dice!
For Magnus: How far down is the bottom of the rift from where we are?
For everyone else: Do we want to try to reunite the party at the bottom of the rift, bring the others up, or say screw 'em and move on?

The fall was slightly over 200' ft. Good question.Zhym wrote:You have to have some low rolls be good, otherwise you never get to use your low-rolling dice!

There certainly would be some doubt as to whether they survived the fall among the party members still on the ledge.

Vorsyin would assume they were dead unless other evidence was revealed. As such he would not worry about reuniting, he would prefer a strategy of survival.

No I think it was me that started it. My only defence is it was 645am so I was half asleep still!Computer +1 wrote:

really cold for me is really anything below 30 here in VT 30 is about a normal for the winter when it drops below that to me it is too damned cold.

I lived in Minnesota for more than 10 years. In January and February, 30 would be a really nice day.
