Thug & Gong - Rounds 11-14

Narri hops onto the cage, grabs the torch and douses it. The thug retrieves the pole. The room is plunged into darkness. The dwarf's infravision makes out the thug, who is circling cautiously then backs into a corner, twirling his pole rapidly to create a defensive barrier. Narri swings his hand axe once, twice, and on the third time breaks through to cut the thug!

Narri - Gong Room

Frustrated, Narri calls out "You can give any time..."

He then pulls out his crossbow, approaches the cage, and attempts to shoot directly through the bars at the gong from point blank range.

Thug & Gong - Round 15

Narri draws out his loaded crossbow -

the thug leaps forth swinging his pole -

the dwarf aims, pulls the trigger -

the pole slams into Narri's head (6 HP) -

the crossbow bolt flies between the cage bars and the gong resounds!

The thug stops, throws down his pole, and says "At least you got good and bloodied!"

Narri hears a click, as if an unlocking, from the door in the east wall.

Narri - Gong Room

Narri scoops up his axe, and moves to the door he heard click open.

"See you on the outside"

He then attempts to go through the door somewhat quickly, as he feels a bit behind.

Narri opens the door. Immediately before the dwarf is a shaft down. Iron rungs are in the wall.

Narri - secret shaft

Sorry, I've been really slammed with work, as it's our finals/end of semester time. I should be better going forward.

Narri opens his lantern and shines it down into the shaft to see how deep it goes, then descends quickly but carefully, hoping to make up a little time.

Narri shines his torch down the shaft. It goes down about 10'. Iron rungs are in the wall going down. There appears to be a portal opening in the bottom of the pit in the west wall.
