The World

Ert is a world consisting of four continents and a polar ice cap. The cultures on each continent roughly compare to earlier civilizations in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa on our own Earth. It's a world with two moons, so tidal conditions can be a bit wonky. The sun, somewhat hotter than our own, rises in the east and sets in the west. Prevailing winds travel from west to east in the northern hemisphere and the reverse in the southern. Each continent offers its own set of conditions, geographically, climatically and culturally, Ferka, Merka, Ropa and Ersa.

The game takes place on Ropa and pits the most good-aligned state, Golanda, with denizens of one of the most evil, The Cudgel (Quirtoy might vie).

A note on the two gods mentioned:

Samariachau (Săm-ar-ìch-ow) [Goddess of Healing] is the daughter of Jalkarnatur and Saranaelwyd and the neutral good goddess of healing.

Baelcasineb (Bīl-căs-ĭ-neb (emphasis on the second syllable)) [God of Hate] is the chaotic evil god of hatred, strife and racism.
