Cayley:
"As there seems to be no one on the fourth watch, I'll keep an eye out for trouble then." She looks a dry place to take a bite to eat before removing her armor to rest.

Jenks:
After the merchants moved on Jenks reappears from the woods and rejoins the party.
When the party stops for the night, "Wake me up for the third watch." Perhaps not a great idea to break in a new pair of boots with a 30 mile hike.

Dungeon Master:
I will assume that Jenks, still has his old boots with him & that he had that thought & switched back after hopping up on Tewahutes to change them.
During the 2nd hour (4 hours in) of Elusev & whomever else's watch you hear pig-like grunts near the campsite.

Elusev:
Holds his torch out in the direction of the noises, he will lightly kick whoever is closest to him. Not wanting to wake everyone up for something that could be nothing.

Procyon:
Grunting from Elusev's kick, Procyon opened his eyes. "What's the matter?" He muttered in drowsiness.

Re: Chapter 2: The Scramble for the Egg Begins
Dungeon Master:
As Elusev wakes Procyon, the animal-like grunting/snorting continues to sound, but you can not make out anything.
So you can either wait to see if the sounds come closer or go have a look?

Elusev:
Whispers down, "Maybe trouble, be ready." Elusev then cautiously approaches the sound, one hand holding the torch, the other on the pommel of his sword.

Dungeon Master:
As Elusev approaches the pig-like sounds, he sees 2 pig-like forms thanks to his infravision.
One looks up in your direction but then goes back to foraging.

Elusev:
Why do I have a torch lol, completely forgot I was a very old elf with infravision.
Elusev drops the torch gently on the ground and dons his longbow. He quietly calls back to those that are awake, "I found breakfast, wake the others and get ready." With that Elusev carefully takes aim at one of the boars and lets loose an arrow.
Long Bow(Specialized), To Hit:[1d20+4] = 5+4 = 9, Damage: S/M[1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7, L[1d6+1] = 1+1 = 2
not the best score to start combat out with...

Hemlocks:
Wakes from a sound sleep to see Elusev, standing before the fire with bow drawn.
"Now what is the matter Elusev? What is it you see or hear?"
While waiting a response, from Elusev, Hemlocks stands guard next to the warming fire and kicks those adventures sleeping nearest to him.
"Get your butts up and hurry!"

Arn:
Probably only recently fallen asleep after his own watch, bolts upright with a grumpy,
'what-what! Blast, what's all this racket?', rubbing his eyes open.
Upon gaining his senses and seeing Elusev poised for the kill, he moves to sweep up his blade and dragon shield.

Reacting to the commotion, Teladrin rises and prepares his bow.

Dungeon Master:
When Elusev's arrow hits a nearby tree instead of one of the boars, they simply scurry way from the sound off to the side & do not yet come towards the campsite.

Elusev:
Silently curses to himself and knocks another arrow, intent on getting some decent food for the next few days.
Long Bow(Specialized), To Hit:[1d20+4] = 14+4 = 18, Damage: S/M[1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5, L[1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7

Elusev's arrow hits one in the side & now, this one is coming towards the campsite, the other one follows, both grunting & snorting agressively now.
