The air bubble will take up most of Aether's concentration, preventing him from doing much of anything else short of following the group across the buildings. As the group takes to the upper levels, they eventually make there way to the power plant area. An image of war greets them. The mutant army that Raven spotted earlier is in full assault against Rook Industries defenses. Turrets, combat security drones/robots, armed men in hightech hazard suits and explosions everyone can be found. Neither side seems to give up any ground and the battling is fierce as the sounds of sirens wail in the background.

The group is currently on top of one of the abandoned buildings nearby, a football field away from the action. You do not appear to have attracted any attention yet.

Actions?

Raven gets down near the edge of the building, his rifle trained on the battle and his scope up to his eye, "Which side do I shoot? Both?"

Maximillian Arikas [Aether] & Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

I take it Aether still has this bubble protecting them & Flicker with his shell still active?

Steve says,

" Hmmm, not sure if we try to go in & snag the green stuff or help Rook battle these mutants. "

" I could shrink down & teleport over, to get inside & gather some intel, with Scamp hopefully in range for me to send you the intel. "

"An excellent proposition Flicker!" Says the professor wholeheartedly. "I've seen you use that gun of yours before, it operates based off of teleportation discs, using the latest in Quantum Transportation, am I right? And with your suit's shrinking capabilities, you could easily avoid detection and gather intel."

"I will help hold down the fort here and keep SCAMP and the other's safe. Maximillian, how are you holding out? If you need a break from keeping that air bubble up, we could try and go to ground level for a few minutes. Just let us know when."

Pyro, have Aether/Max roll against Fortitude. A minor success means that you are not fatigued, a failure means that you are getting tired. If that happens, roll a d10 to see how long you can keep up the air filter barrier.

Alright, Aether is barely keeping the clean air bubble up at this point. Roll a d10 to see how long it will last. The result is how many turns you have before you need to bring it down and expose everyone to radiation/poison damage.

Best make the most of it then, may have to relocate to the ground for some time too.

I assume that we are going with this plan then? When you are ready to begin just say so. Also, do be specific when saying where you are teleporting to. There is a war going on down there and depending on where you end up, shrunken or not, it could be dangerous.

I'm fine with that plan, depending on the situation they have themselves in Raven will provide cover fire from above for as long as he is able.

Sniper Fire Initiative: [1d100] = 79, To Hit: [1d100] = 29
Sniper Fire Initiative: [1d100] = 99, To Hit: [1d100] = 50

Ok, basically how many rooftops to the center of it all?

Any open/broken windows Flicker can teleport into???

Steve would stay as high up as possible until he gets close to the source of the Ichnorite & do it as quickly as possible.

Looking from a high vantage point, you can tell that their are three tiers to the plant, the outer wall (with ramps and catwalks), a series of buildings for power plant personnel (second tier, roughly 8-11 buildings from what you can see), and the main power plant itself with massive smokestacks and various refinery facilities attached (the core of the facility, farthest away but has numerous catwalks and ramps).

For being so far into the the Industrial Sector of Atlas City, surprisingly enough everything inside the facility appears to be in peak condition, none of the windows being smashed in or cracked, the walls free of graffiti, and the grounds behind the walls well maintained. It looks like the wall and outside section of the wall is heavily defended at the moment, especially near the main front gate where the mutant army is attacking. Peering farther inside the facility, you notice various security detachments patrolling the grounds within. Your small profile might be enough, but the place will surely have lots of surveillance in the form of security cameras.

When you begin your first teleport, Aether's clean air bubble countdown timer will begin.

Steve will move to the 1st Tier, try to have a look from there first. He will use his shell, shrinking & Teleport abilities:

Flicker successfully teleports over, but for some reason, his shrink does not engage properly with the armor augmentation of his shell. Perhaps simultaneous ability activations are not compatible? He tucks that away as a mental note while surveying the walled area in his full-sized form. It is at this moment that something incredibly unfortunate occurs. A ladder, connected to the wall nearby Flicker, slides down on its own accord, producing a lot of noise. You swear for a moment you could hear a laugh while this happens.

The Rook Industry guards and security drones all turn their heads towards the source of the sudden noise. They freak. Many start to bark orders to get the ladder raised immediately. Still not quite noticing Flicker for some miraculous reason. The mutant army takes full advantage of this and acts immediately. Those with rifles are given orders to shoot down the RI guards on top of the wall. They do so with deadly precision, all in synch with one another. Meanwhile, orders are barked to all of the mutant foot soldiers. They all storm the walls, funneling towards the ladder that was pulled down.

The Rook Industries try to repel the surge of mutant soldier zombies, but...

Suffice to say, everyone is focused on trying to stop this disturbing event and no one notices Flicker on the wall right now. The rest of the hero group can see this all happen from their rooftop vantage point. A look of horror spreads across the Professor's face as he comes to the conclusion that he mentally underestimated the size of the mutant army. Actions? ;)

Raven starts laying down sniper fire on the massing horde of mutants to help the security guards.

Sniper Fire Initiative: [1d100] = 88, To Hit: [1d100] = 10
Sniper Fire Initiative: [1d100] = 43, To Hit: [1d100] = 9
Sniper Fire Initiative: [1d100] = 73, To Hit: [1d100] = 4
Sniper Fire Initiative: [1d100] = 30, To Hit: [1d100] = 36
lol, wow. It progressively got worse until that last one... Raven really needs to practice more.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

Looks like Aether will use an air attack on the climbing zombie pile once they near the top, after the rest of the group separate from him.

Immediately after that Flicker will try to teleport to the 2nd Tier:

Shell (40): [1d100] = 39
Shrinking (20): [1d100] = 82
Teleport: (30): [1d100] = 2

The character may teleport a number of sectors equal to the Rank Value of this power in a single turn. Teleporting requires the player to roll d% on the Master Table using the Rank Value of this power. A result of Black means the character arrives dazed at the destination sector and must spend the next turn recovering (the character may take no actions that turn).
Not wanting to waste any time where he is at, Flicker shrinks and hardens his armor again, and teleports to one of the building rooftops with not as much security/surveillance. He arrives dazed though and cannot function due to his system's quick reboot program. He is stuck in his small form and cannot move.

Aether tries to help repel the enemy mutant army from the enemy Rook Industry guards in hopes of turning the tide. [1d100] = 3
The wave of air he generates does not seem to faze the swarm of mutants, nor does it push any of the RI guards off the wall if that was his intent.
Exhaustion
A character can move for a number of turns equal to the Rank Value of his Fortitude before he runs the risk of suffering from exhaustion. The character must roll d% on the Master Table using the character’s Fortitude Rank Value:

Black = You collapse and must rest for 3-30 turns.
Red = You collapse and must rest for 2-20 turns.
Blue = Your fine, keep going
Yellow = Your fine, keep going

The character must continue rolling once each turn at a -10 penalty to his Fortitude Rank Value until he rests for 10 turns.
Aether is now exhausted and must roll to see what happens next. His constant use of his abilities in such a short span of time has put quite the strain on his body.

Since you are firing into a large swarm of mutants, we will say for simplicity's sake that your shots hit one of the hundreds of mutants, but did not make a big difference. A successful hit will take out a key opponent though, you can pick either Mutant Army Sniper or Super Soldier. Depending on who you pick for you two successful hits (Yes we are batching them together to save time), a unique result will occur.

I was able to get two successes out of that mess? Oh my...

Let's go with the most obvious threat, mutant snipers.
