Ewat:
Ewat readies an arrow, but would do just as well to sit down and play pinochle:
Short-range Bow: [1d20+3] = 3+3 = 6 Damage: [1d6x2] = 5x2 = 10

Wolfram:
Now that the ogre lies stunned, will that improve the chances of Wolfram's upcoming rolls to hit? Just a little bit ?Anyways, none of those rolls would hit!

Victor:
HAHAHAHAH Of course I roll this once the enemy is stunned.
Victor has a dangerous gleam in his eye when the Ogre struck Maya down, He yells out to Borum and Opal, his voice now sounding gruff and authoritative, "HEAL MAYA!", He twists the blade in his hand and the words etched into the short sword almost seem to glow as it bites into the Ogres flesh.
Short Sword: [1d20] = 20 Damage: S/M[1d6] = 1, L[1d8] = 7

Re: Chapter 9: The Cave Exploring Continues
Dungeon Master:
Yark the Ogre is very much dead now with -11 out of 25 HP.
Mort would have 3 Hit Points restored.
Sister Opal will restore [1d8] = 5 of Hit Points back to Maya.
Maya at -2 HP, Kormak at 0HP will need bandaged & heal 1 HP per day.
On that note if Borum heals the 3 HP to Kormak, instead, he could be up & moving with little help & only Maya will need carried. Mort would still have 1 HP.

Idonea & Ewat:
Idonea: "We have wounded who need attention, and the Keep should know that Tenebaum and his underlings were traitors. Should we head back? Or do we press on? We may have just cleared out the inhabitants of this cave."
Ewat heads over to the portcullis to see if he can be of any use opening it. He's not strong enough to attempt to lift it, so he inspects the mechanism and the surroundings, to see if he can find a release for it.

Borum, Mort & Kormak:
Mort "You know to get Wexley out we can take a spike and some rope and have us pull on our end and potentially get that open for him."
Borum uses his only heal on Kormak so they don't have to carry him.
Kormak gets up and punches the ogre corpse.

Ewat does not see or find anything that would cause the rusty portcullis to go back up...oh & actually he does have a 1% chance to bend bars/lift gates!

Ewat:
Never one to be held back by logic, Ewat attempts to heave up the portcullis.
[1d100] = 100
Whoa! Was that roll high or low? Ewat either just pulled off a herculean miracle, or threw his back out!

Re: Chapter 9: The Cave Exploring Continues
Lutha Cee & Wolfram:
Lutha to anyone in command: "With all respect - I get the first go at Tenebaum. I must know my brother Luna Cee's fate".
Then leans over, grabs Tenebaum's scalp, makes a claw-like pose with the other hand, stares threateningly into T's eyes and says "You have just felt the mighty grip of Cee almost snuff you out of existence. With a mere flick of my wrist" (twitches his clawed hand menacingly) "the world loses another cleric. You have 10 seconds to start talking about what really happened to Luna Cee. OK?" (looking for a nod etc from Tenebaum)
Wolfram, in a flurry of post-battle-frenzy confusion, rushes over to Maya, blabbing "Maya - Maya! I killed the giant! Are you alive ? I killed him - for you! Come back, Maya! Wake up! Don't leave me" and throws himself over Maya, trying to figure out how to 'mend' her wounds, tying a scarf around her foot, stroking her helmet etc

Dungeon Master:
Ok, so yea combining to try to lift the rusty portcullis may help! That way say if you all individually had a 7% chance to lift gates, & 4 of you tried together the chance for each increases to 28%.
Fr. Tenebaum, says to Lutha Cee, while coughing a bit & bleeding in places where the shrunk collar cut into his flesh.
"Ha, Ha, cough, cough, Ha ha, cough, cough, I would guess, cough, that Luna Cee, hath moved on, cough, to another form of life now, cough, among the undead, He, He, He, cough, cough."
Maya has a nasty head wound thanks to Yark.
I assume the stunned Goblin is also tied-up now? Anyone bothering to search the bodies for clues & loot???

Lutha Cee:
Lutha, disgusted, drops Tenebaum un-gently to the ground, spits at him and says loudly to the whole group: "He's all yours. Do what you want. I hope what you want is...bad"
then retreats silently into brooding, inner thoughts
