Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Out of Character Discussions is for friendly banter, questions, comments, odd & ends, whether related or unrelated to the Storyline of the game.
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
You can either use the example Cleric character sheet or use the Unseen Servant's Dice Roller to create your Cleric.IamRuboCop:
How would you like me to create my character, it's been ages since I played 2e or any d&d for that matter.
You will at the least use the Dice Roller to roll up the Stats & Hit Points.
After that you post either one or Both in the Character Sheet Topic.
Need any help with with creating the Cleric, let me know!
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Non-weapons proficiencies
I looked up Non-weapons proficiencies in the Wilderness survival guide for monks since the class does not exist in 2e.
Monk get 1 Non-weapons proficiency and 1 per 2 levels.
Could I also take a secondary skill out of the DM p.12 ?

You can use the skills in that compiled list i posted in the House Rules section.
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Sorry left off the G. DMG (Dungeons Master Guide 1st ed.) pg 12 - Secondary Skills.
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Yes, you could use those skills as a proficiency, yes.DadsAngry wrote:Sorry left off the G. DMG (Dungeons Master Guide 1st ed.) pg 12 - Secondary Skills.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Once all players are confirmed & all character sheets posted, i will post the Intro to begin the adventure.
Still looking for a replacement for the Cleric & still not sure if Marcanus_Da_Lich will actually play the Paladin Knight.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Heads up, my character name changed. It was original Trahern which I just now noticed was the last name of the family friend of the plot synopsis.
I swear I picked that name at random off the internet. So my character's name is now Tuireann so there won't be any confusion.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
A Note about equipment:
Since the Characters will be on their way to a funeral, they will be traveling light.
So they would not have adventuring gear upon their person.
That said you can leave what equipment you have listed on you character sheet as a wishlist for now.
You would be wearing your armor & carrying your weapon(s) for protection while traveling on foot to Caer Brennau.
One other city of the Twelve Kingdoms is mentioned in the module, Caer Arlais (The City of Temples).
This city sounds good for a Cleric, Paladin or Monk Character.
The first person that ask can use it as the city they were born in for their background.
Caer Arlais is hundreds of miles southeast of Caer Brennau, so obviously the character did not start his/her trek to the funeral from there.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Main Cities of the Twelve Kingdoms:
So far as i know of; 4 of the main cities of the Twelve Kingdoms appear to be:
Caer Arail: Is a city in the eastern part of the Twelve Kingdoms
Caer Arlais (The City of Temples): This city sounds good for a Cleric, Paladin or Monk Character.
Is hundreds of miles southeast of Caer Brennau, so obviously the character did not start his/her trek to the funeral from there.
Caer Brennau
Caer Brennin
The first person that ask can use one of the above (except of Caer Brennau) as the city they were born in for their background.
