Ch. 5: The Pillared Throne Room

Odilo "Alright Urdak on the count of three we both try together to get the door opened.Ready? One, two, three." Odilo gives the door another shot with the aid of Urdak. [1d6] = 3

[tkrexx]

Uh... The Dwarf stammers. 3 comes after 2, right? He just heaves against the door when his friend does.

[1d6] = 2

[Zhym]

Urdak and Oldio decide to try teamwork. On the count of...well, it doesn't matter what the count is. Odilo throws himself at the door, and Urdak joins him. The door bursts open. Odilo and Urdak fall forward into an east-west hallway that seems strangely familiar.

Behind them, where a door should be, they see only a blank wall.

Odilo "Well it appears we opened the last door and well I'm beginning to hate this place."

Skarlos moves up and tries to open the door the other just disappeared through.

[Stirling]

McCloud puts his 'tackle' away after a long wee in the corner. Turning around he will go with Quinn and Skarlos through one of the doors. "lets'catch up with the little fella's."

Skarlos and McCloud manage to open the door together. They fall into the hallway with Odilo and Urdak.

Odilo steps out of the way as the other two flop out of the wall. "Ah so you did decide to rejoin us. Splendid. Well now what we appear to be back in a hallway that we've already discovered and explored prior." then the tall mage stares at the wall "Say where is out fifth party member? Quinn I believe."

[saalaria]

"Argh - I was hoping to keep it open so you could come back through - guess we'll have to take the long way around. I have a feeling we going to need to find the key to the hole in the ground to continue onwards. We may be in for a long search of everywhere we've already been."

[GreyWolfVT]

Odilo looks disgruntled after hearing the latest news "That. Is not what I wanted to hear."

[Stirling]

"oh it's you two. I was expecting to catch up with old man Bindle", McCloud jokes and then knocks on the door shouting for Quinn to follow

Urdak dusts himself off, as if that would help. Ya known wut I think? Zis place is playn games wid us. He seems quite proud of his discovery.

[GreyWolfVT]

"I agree Urdak."

[Stirling]

Not sure what light source we have this side of the door, so McCloud will strike a torch, something comforting about a stick with some fire on it. Does McCloud recognize this room / corridor? If so where are we, map please so McCloud can figur eout if 'going the long way round' to get back to the others is worth it.

The DM has supplied enough maps as we've gone along for the players to assemble a larger one if they wish.

i suspect that is DM speak for we have been here before may have been before Odilo joined you but it was a previously explored passage.

It's more like DM-speak for "I'll give you tactical maps, and those maps will overlap as we move along, but if you want an overall map of the Tomb that's up to you."

we want a poster sized map of the entire thing come on DM we want swag.

I assumed we are back out in one of those passage that linked in a cross and we ended up going through the northern arm, therefore....

Skarlos walks East (right) to see what he comes to. He will stop prior to an intersection, in case there's a spear trap.
