If Idonea sees Lutha strike first, she'll assume Lutha is the traitor and attack him. If Lutha waits until there is a sign that Tenebaum is the traitor, she'll gig the strangling cleric with her fork.

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
I'm unable to keep up with all of this ooc cluster.
Mort attempts to stand up or kneel to shoot at the first orc he sees with his crossbow Crossbow, Light Hit[1d20 +3] = 1+3 = 4 Dmg[1d4] = 3
already stated Borum guessing it is segment 3
Kormak will start fighting orcs with his big 2 handed sword Two-Handed Sword[1d20 +1] = 11+1 = 12 Dmg[1d10 +2] = 8+2 = 10 Lrg Dmg[3d6 +2] = 6+2 = 8

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
And here come the ballista! [1d20] = 13.. well that's not very good...
Maya will continue to confront the hopefully by now blinded orcs. Longsword: [1d20] = 13 Damage: S/M[1d8+1] = 1+1 = 2, L[1d12+1] = 6+1 = 7

Dungeon Master:
Lutha Cee has Not cast the shrink spell yet.
The info on the spell was just posted is all!
MonkeyWrench give me a roll for each ballista missile (3 more), though I do wonder if you can only cast 1 due to your level. Still the three Orcs will try to duck the one ballista & be prone for 1 round.

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
The spell indicates that you can cast whatever you want as long as it fits and the spell says 80 feet? so I just kind of went with it. probably should have made like a trap in the floor or something so they don't get a save to dodge but then again I didn't want them to be all "wait zorg! we live in dees places! We be knowin all bouts dese floors yerg?" at least they are prone for a round though, should help us.
Here's my three other rolls!

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
Dungeon Master:
Update Macabre Heads Orc Cave Battle Map (6/30/2014 11:01pm):
ROUND 1 : SEGMENT 4 Actions:
Orc #8 takes a stab with his spear at Maya as he moves up stabbing her: 'To Hit': [1d20] = 19
for [1d6] = 1 Hit Point of damage.
Ewat's 2nd arrow hits Orc #8 for the 4th segment, killing the Orc.
2 Orcs Now down.
Wexley's "Color Spray" spell affect up to [1d6] = 6 creatures in it's area of effect, which knocks out All 5 of the Orcs for [2d4] = 7 Rounds!
Victor's, "Phantasmal Force" spell causes the remaining 2 Orcs from the East Corridor to dive for cover, since they thought a ballista missile was coming at them & they are now
prone for 1 round.
Fr. Tenebaum halts casting his scroll spell.
Sister Opal, Karick, Mr. Choe, Wolfram, Kormak, Mort, Radac & Borum stay where they are.
Idonea & Lutha are still behind Fr. Tenebaum.
Ok, if everything looks right, you can start Posting any Actions for ROUND 1 : SEGMENT 5!
Note: Orcs #6, & #7 are only prone on the ground, the rest of the Orcs are either Unconscious or Dead.

Mr. Choe
Choe will take up a spot in the back and help anyone who gets overwhelmed.
For now, he waits for things to unfold.

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
Ewat, we need to dispatch these orcs swiftly before the others wake up. Wexley draws his bow and begins to offer fire support to Maya and the others. Shooting only when he is sure the shot is clear.
Should Ewat or another party member take action to slay the 5 orcs that are now unconscious, Wexley will shift to cover them as they do. Also, since he will be shooting intermittently at the 2 orcs being engaged by Maya and the others, he will ensure nothing is sneaking up on them down the halls by keeping an eye out and use his infravision when he can
In case you need them, a couple bow shots (wow, these suck)
Bow shot [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3, damage [1d6] = 2
Bow shot [1d20+1] = 3+1 = 4, damage [1d6] = 4

I swore I had both mort and kormak attack I did a crossbow shot from mort and a sword swing for kormak.....
Kormak some rolls due to my lack of understanding this strange combat procedure.

Ewat notches an arrow and moves to stand above the prone orcs, ready to fire into exposed flesh. "Who speaks orc? Tell 'em t' surrender!"

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
Maya engages the orc that hit her with the spear, "Orcs don't surrender, keel them all!"
Longsword: [1d20] = 7 Damage: S/M[1d8+1] = 5+1 = 6, L[1d12+1] = 10+1 = 11
With the Illusion done Victor moves up, slicing down into the other prone orc.
Short Sword: [1d20] = 3 Damage: S/M[1d6] = 5, L[1d8] = 5
Hopefully with the creature being prone the "to hit" doesn't matter so much, because I have been rolling terribly all across the board on my characters

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
Hearing Ewat's call for a survivor, Wexley frowns. then speaks Orcs surrender and help only if it will benefit them. Slay them all immediately and let's be done with this. Once more Wexley looks back down the passages expecting trouble from either side. And someone knife these 5...they are NOT dead, but unconscious.

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
Lutha speaks Orc but is a) otherwise occupied b) anyway too far back to shout up front efficiently

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
Wolfram whirls a throwing axe at the nearest standing/alive orc, but grossly misjudged the fluid drag force that acts on any moving object in a freestream flow: Axe, throwing, to hit: [1d20+1] = 1+1 = 2, damage vs S/M opp: [1d6+2] = 1+2 = 3 / damage vs L opp: [1d4+2] = 3+2 = 5
To GM: Are throwing axes recoverable under this game's rules ?

Re: Chapter 7: Cave of the Macabre Heads
Dungeon Master:
Mort being surrounded by other adventurers plus the fact the other adventurers incapacitated the Orcs during the segment is why Kormak & Mort didn't get to do anything that segment is all.
However now you get to all gang up on 2 Orcs.
Wolfram: Yes you can recover the hand axes here of course, it's not like your victim fell over a 100 ft cliff or the axe landed in green slime or gray ooze here!
Maya: No longer needs to engage the Orc that stabbed her with his spear thanks to Ewat nailing him with 2 arrows so she goes after one of prone Orcs (#6 i believe).
