Re: Part 3: Ill met at first light
Gizzy and Simon haul rocks back and forth, retreating further down the tunnel before the swaddled Bürd and Jonas heave them into the rooms. It takes awhile, because you need to wait for each puff-burst to settle down before continuing. Many of the ancient weapons that litter the floor crack and smash into little more than powder as the rocks tumble.
Okay, you're not able to clear the whole room, but you do manage to clear an area. What sort of area do you want to clear? A path across the chamber? A path to the hearth stone in the middle of the space? To the clay slab behind the stone? Something else?

I think we all want to get across the chamber to the exit, so we'd definitely want to clear a path for that, and that'd automatically pass by the hearth, right? That's good enough for me.

Re: Part 3: Ill met at first light
Simon trails after the others slowly, motioning to their unconscious comrade "Should we just leave Marcus here?"
Re: Part 3: Ill met at first light
Bürd shrugs at Simon, "we kinnae carry 'im lad. An it's jes us here an all, he'll keep I'm thinkin'. If'n this tunnel is what it seems, it'll circle t'th'other where the fire were, an' we'll be back in short time."
Bürd leads into the chamber, taking his time. He'll stop at the large stone and check it over, brushing ash off the top and looking for anything interesting, before continuing through to the exit.
Here's an INT roll if needed: [1d20+1] = 10+1 = 11

The stone hearth is heaped with dust and ash. Three particularly large lumps reveal themselves on even cursory inspection to be small ceramic pieces.
Also, High time for a new chapter thread! See you over there!

Ceramic pieces, as in pieces of something broken? Do they look like they could be put together, or are they distinct objects themselves?
