It's pretty rotted: you'd be wary of trying to cross the river, and would be unable to pull a cart across it, but you're pretty sure you could edge as far along as the area of activity.

You could attempt an INT check for a more informed opinion.

You follow Hag Sal and the two men down among the fishing shacks to Tatter Helga's and then back to the pen of Abel's talking pig. It's hard to see details, but there is no movement from the pen, and no grunty little voice to greet Hag Sal. The two men clamber over the fence and hoist up the limp body of the pig and drop over the fence.

Hag Sal fusses over the motionless pig. She thrusts a small sack at one of the men. "Git th' feed. Sweep it up 'r stomp it inta th' muck. Don' leave no boot marks, neether."

After a minute or two, the two men hoist the pig between them, and begin marching North. Hag Sal stays behind, looks over the pen, and then begins to head West.

Sorry about the delayed post. I am equally up for surprising them and rescuing the pig or sneaking around and defending the pig if we get caught.
As the two men start hoisting the pig Jonas shakes his head No, this is all wrong. They're up to something ill, we cannot let them take Abel's pig. and jumps out of the shadows, shield raised and facing Sal and the two men.

You three! he shouts Drop that pig and stop whatever thievery you're doing!

Marcus treads water as he waits for the rope to be made, "Toss it here and I'll wrap it around the thing and we can pull it out... and guys? I think it's a body..."

You feel quite certain that the stone work will hold, but that the wood is risky. Fortunately, you can reach where you want to by sticking to the stonework.

The men drop the pig, alright, and begin running straight towards the two of you, pulling objects from within their clothes!

Guys, it's obviously well past time for me to split the threads for the two parties.
