Ruke... You wonderful bastard you.

After hearing Elsa's exclamation Raven looks out the back window at the attacking car, an idea comes to him in that moment, he focuses on the rocket launcher and instead of sending himself he tries to... pull.

Teleportation 40: [1d100] = 7

Well.... So much for that.

Edit: Throwing in my Fortune points! adding 50 to that 7 plus the skill of my own teleporation!

Good call! Those are to be used in situations exactly like this ;)

In what seemed like a win or die situation, all hope seemed to be lost as Raven tries to perform a reverse teleportation... and fails! The hero does not give up though. Elsa buys him a little more time with a rapid windshield icing technique, making the black car swerve and the rocketman lose his aim.

Raven then focuses once again and after some noticeable struggle on his end, a rocket launcher materializes right onto this lap! The gunman in the black car looks utterly confused as the weapon dissapears from his hand in a flash, and shouts at the driver as the car slams into a nearby tree. The heroes are able to escape their pursuers and find themselves at the local airport. The cab driver is fuming however. He turns around and starts to freak out even more as he notices that one of his passengers just somehow magically produced a rocket launcher! (Picture perfect moment)

As Elsa takes the brunt of the cab drivers anger Raven inspects the rocket launcher, he looks back to elsa, "Think they'll let me take this on the plane?" His face does not look to be joking.

Elsa shrugs. "Private Jet. I heard Bieber had whores and a pound of pot on a jet. " she laughs and thinks to herself "I wish the damn cab driver might have let us stop and question the would-be assassins."
Assuming there is an escort waiting to take her to her terminal, Elsa gives the cab driver a five hundred dollar tip and moves to get out.
"Taking a missile launcher into the airport is problematic though."

Airport security proved to be of little concern for the heroes as Elsa's private jet was on a separate runway, away from the local traffic. Meaning, they did not have to fortunately go through the standard procedure as most people would. Waiting outside the jet in question is someone that Elsa instantly recognized, one of the royal families servants. He is in an aviation suit instead of his regular butler attire, but he still maintains his charms and shows the highest level of respect for Elsa. "It is good to see you again Princess. How may I serve you today?" He says this with the standard bow as he waits next to the loading stairs. He raises an eyebrow and smiles as the family servant also notices Raven and his rocket launcher, ideas start to float through his mind, but he keeps them in check.

Raven listens to the mans introduction to Elsa, his eyebrow raising slightly at the mention of "Princess", he then follows the mans gaze to his rocket launcher, he looks the man in the eyes and says "I found it."

Elsa adopts a noble air unseen by Raven until now.
"Tis good to see you as well , Alfred. "
She follows his gaze to the RPG and laughs.
"Not to worry. My friend here is merely a collector of...oddities. We'll be making for the coast, Alfred."
She bids Raven to board the jet.
"Try to find a smaller airstrip to land on, hmm? Not a major airport. To avoid the fanfare. I do hope you've procured some champagne for the flight? Oh, and I've seemed to have misplaced my cell phone. Perhaps call ahead and have one waiting for me?""

"My apologies milady, and yes, I shall see to the arrangements being made. You will find an assortment of beverages at your disposal as well as the latest in RTG
(Restaurant to Go)
technologies on board as well." Alfred then ends with a bow and motions to the stairs with a wave of his arm.

Raven boards the plane and sits down in one of the seats, he is not sure what to do with a rocket launcher though, after thinking for a moment he just lets it lay on his lap.

"So..." says Elsa to Raven, "A suitcase bomb, a car chase,and...a rocket launcher... "
She pours them some champagne and sits by him. "I wonder if Captain Manhattan ever has days like this..."
She sips the bubbly drink and sighs a very content sigh.
"Look. I'm kinda knew at this whole super girl thing. And, well, frankly, YOU'RE new at everything. I'd like to think we got through these last...trials by skill, but..."
She takes another sip and looks to the launcher.
"This is too big for us. I'm half expecting a fighter jet to shoot us down as soon as we take off!"
She opens the hide away seat compartment and pulls out a laptop and hands it to him.
"We need answers and you seem pretty good with these things...when they're not blowing up.."

Elsa operates a remote causing a bigscreen to descend from the roof. A video plays.

Raven sets the rocket launcher, Daisy, aside and places the laptop on his lap. "You are right, I am new to everything... I can't help but wonder that everything that has happened to us is because of who I was before this, I am sorry for that and if at any time you wish to walk away, I will not blame you..." Raven listens to the video playing as Elsa relaxes to it, he has yet to drink the champagne and instead is focusing on doing searches for who he was and what he was involved in, Starting with news stories and anything linked to his old name.

As Raven clicks on the internet ad, the computer screen locks up and he can no longer move the mouse icon. A window appears and starts to download a cheesy sounding security system for the computer. Congratulations! Your first few steps into the world of the internet has landed your mac laptop a powerful virus. What are the chances of that?

Raven starts to freak out as the screen locks up and the mysterous window starts to download something without his permisson. He pounds the keyboard with his fist, mashing buttons everywhere, hoping to make it stop. Smoke then starts to come out of the laptop.... Elsa looks at Raven and the laptop, then back at Raven, a look of fear on her eyes. She clings to the remote and holds it close to her, afraid that he may break it as well at the television it controls. She doesn't know how it would be possible for such a thing to happen, but she is not taking any more chances....

-----

As the whole laptop experience occurs, you can hear an announcement over the jet's com system, asking for all passengers to fasten their seatbelts and to keep their hands and feet inside at all times. The seatbelt sign illuminates with a soft orange, signaling that the jet is about to take off. It is after both the supers are seatbelted that Elsa produces another laptop from another hidden compartment, this time turning on the parental control program before handing it to him, cautiously at that.

Raven's new search yields more information on the past exploits of the man named Nelson Warren. Though you cannot find any pictures of him, his name appears in multiple newspaper articles revolving around famous supervillian captures, crime busts, smuggling operations uncovered thanks to him, and many other heroic feats. Some of the names of the supers that Mr. Warren worked with also sound familiar, Captain Platinum, Miss Euphoria, Metal Streak, The Stone, Penuttler. One thing has been confirmed at least; Raven was already doing heroic things, pursuing the career of a private investigator to help stop villiany as a regular citizen. He still doesn't remember whether he was a hero in his past life or if he obtained his abilites after the military complex incident.

On another note, you cannot find any information on a man named Blake, at least in relation to Nelson Warren, it is as if he never even existed, or was made known to the public... interesting. Who was he exactly? And what is this betrayal that he keeps on hinting towards? From your journal, you were able to figure out that he was at least a very good friend to you, at one point, and that you relied on him to help out in your investigative work.

As Raven looks through the names of the famous superheroes that Nelson was involved in he does individual searches on each of the people named, looking for any other instances where he may have worked with them and what their public powers are, "It seems like I worked with superheroes to capture criminals, now I'm not sure if I really was just a civilian or if I had powers before I died."

"Still..." says Elsa, "At least we know you weren't Dr. Frankenstein, working for that lab. I wonder if other supers weren't also helping you with this case? Is there a Supers....Facebook? We could use some answers, and some help."

As raven continues searching for any information on the names he found he opens another tab, "Huh... Couldn't hurt to try." He then searches for a superhero related social networking site.

The same names seem to pop up as you search for the supers online. It would appear as if they worked in a group for a long time, and you were part of it. Though strangely enough, you are not in any of the pictures... As you continue your search of the super group, you find some dark news, obituaries. There is one for almost everyone in the group you were researching. They have all died recently in the last few years, by the hands of a new villian named.... Hot Streak. An explosive arsonist that has been on the run for 3 years now, always eluding capture. His latest victims were Captain Platinum, Miss Euphoria and, case still pending for investigation, Nelson Warren and the guest he had with him (identity still unknown).

Your search for a social networking site for supers comes up with the following: CoH Faces- Behind the Mask. It appears to be a sort of facebook exclusively for supers in this world, a forum based off of the Titan Network Database. As you try to access some of the content, you are redirected to a log in screen and asked to type in a password while providing your hero license number. Along the side of the screen you can see an advertisement for an upcoming game called City of Titans. http://cityoftitans.com/
