Down in a Hole
Down in a Hole
The party has descended the mesa wall safely and is now in an area that is roughly 150' in diameter. The uneven ground is strewn with large rocks. A quick look around by Scy revealed no tracks to be found.

Re: Down in a Hole
"Alright fellas does not appear anything has been down here that would walk, so what now?" with that Scy beings looking around for tunnel options and lights a torch since I don't think anyone else has yet.

Serg is looking around, spear ready in hand. He will move around a bit, not strying too far from the others, looking for any signs of activity or anything unusual among the rocks.

OOC: So... we're just in the bottom of a hole? There's no obvious tunnel leading anywhere?

serg roll 1d6
You are at the bottom of the pit. It is about 150' in diameter and filled with big rocks. No glaring entrance to anything.

"Spread out. There has to be an entrance somewhere around here," Cilian says, starting to examine the area nearest them for any signs of an entrance.
"Maybe we should all stick somewhat close by, though, and focus on one area at a time. Like, roughly, a quarter of the bottom of this pit."

Everyone roll 1d6 if you haven't done so
Re: Down in a Hole
as Cilian is searching he notices something that seems out of place. There are two boulders that are next to each other. There is a small space near the ground where they meet.
You expect this would be flat ground but it looks to you like the ground slopes.

"Over here," Cilian says loud enough for the others to hear, without yelling,"I think I've found something."
He moves to examine the area between the boulders more closely. "We'll probably need a light."

Re: Down in a Hole
I believe I was trying to light a torch earlier.

Sticking the torch into the opening you do indeed see the opening slopes downward under the boulders

Re: Down in a Hole
"Well what do you guys think? Can we all fit through there or do we need to move these rocks?" Scy asks with a bit of sarcasm in his voice.

Re: Down in a Hole
Not sure if I still need to roll but here it goes: [1d6] = 5
Well, to be honest if these boulders are movable then I would prefer to get them away from each other before we descend. Don't want to find our way out blocked later...GreyWolfVT wrote:"Well what do you guys think? Can we all fit through there or do we need to move these rocks?" "I agree there. You think it is possible for us all to move at least one of em if we try together?"

each bolder is as high and wide as Osric si tall.
Re: Down in a Hole
Stacking, or rather, rolling them away from the hole is the obvious choice, but if a quake or something would cause them to stir we would have a hard go of it later. The temple must be further down , so,......what are we waiting for. Ready? On three, ready? One, two..
