As the two separate groups converge on the wreckage you finally spot each other.
The plants vines are moving toward Zengar and Elvis.

When he makes eye contact with the duo at the eastern side of the crash site, he announces the obvious. "Them other two seen us finally. Looks like that vine creature is going after them! Should we help them?" he suddenly queries in a sort of human solidarity versus floral monstrosity tone.

Are those escape pods similar to the one that Goosh Goosh came down in? Would id recognize them?

the pods are identical.

The Goosh stares restlessly at the escape pods, the ones that look very similiar to the one id found idself in. The Goosh then looks at the green humanoids and feels a strange sense of familiarity, as if id should know who they are.... "The Goosh thinks that we should save the green ones. The Goosh does not know why, but the Goosh thinks they are important." Readying id's bolt shooter, the Goosh waits for the others as id does not want to rush into battle alone.

Zengar squints at the second group briefly, seeing the humanoids and thinking to himself: Aha, some valorous men at arms! A Dúnedain, a man of roughly Rohan descent, a man of Bree I think, and, and... His imagination drives him away from the burden of sanity, as his deluded mind's eye forms the 3 foot tall Dralasite into a chirpy Hobbit! Chirpy and rosy cheeked, this jolly Halfling looks around with wonder in its eyes. Zengar feels a boost of morale and his excitement is sky rocketing with this sight. His own fellowship! He unsheathes the Blade of Light and as it activates a beam like that of a flashlight spears upward before shrinking into a humming, hissing short beam of light. "Your dastardly doings are past, malevolent one, The Fellowship is here!" He shouts enthusiastically as he swings.

Roll To-Hit: [1d20] = 7

Elvis tries to give the newcomers a look that says, "It's okay, he's eccentric but harmless, unless you're an enemy, which we figure you aren't," but all he can manage is a shrug. Then he remembers he's a telepath. It's okay, he's eccentric but harmless, unless you're an enemy, which we figure you aren't, he sends. By the way, I'm Elvis, the dedicated LARPer is Zengar, and what the heck is this overexcited topiary?

Elvis hacks at the approaching plant with his sword.

Long sword: [1d20] = 14 Damage: [1d8] = 1

Is the Goosh able to recieve telepathic human thoughts? Considering the physical build of a Dralasite... not sure how that would work. Am I over thinking this?

43. TELEPATHY: This is the power to read another creature’s thoughts and/oremotions and send your own in return. This power transcends language andworks on all beings up to 10 meters away.

when rolling dice that may result in a call for a second roll, like rolling to hit may call for a damage roll, please include both rolls in your post to save time.I like to combine macros like so:
Grims Dual Hand Ax#1 [1d20+4] Damage[1d8+3] Hand Ax#2 [1d20+4] Damage[1d6+3]

Zengars vibrodagger hums to life and the many mouthed vine shrinks from his attack as he swings.
Elvis, caught up in Zengars enthusiasm, hacks at the plant as well sending pieces of the vine flying over head.
Many more vines snake in to take it's place.

It has been 3 rounds since the heat generatiin attack.
The rest of the group can move in to join melee or use ranged attacks.
Someone roll d6 for party initiative and everyone declare round 1 actions

Is it still daylight? If so, Elvis gets two attacks (forgot about that last round).

Initiative: [1d6] = 1

Slash slash.

Long sword: [1d20] = 9 Damage: [1d8] = 8
Long sword: [1d20] = 19 Damage: [1d8] = 5

Following the lead of the other group, the Goosh loads a bolt into id's bolt shooter and fires it at the mass of vines.

Bolt Shooter [1d20] = 13 damage [1d4] = 4

Feeling the heat rush through him, Zengar directs it through his fingertips into the abundance of vines!

Roll To-Hit: [1d20] = 8

Fire Damage: [4d6] = 17

Alex Auster

"Do we aim for the vines or the fly trap bits?" shouts Alex as he loads his sling.

Alex Auster Sling (Wpn Class 9): to hit [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3, damage [1d4+1] = 2+1 = 3 | [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6, extra damage [1d6] = 4

ooc: I assume the extra die of damage for molecular understanding is a d6?

the extra die is by weapon damage die, so in the case of sling it's +1d4. Also you have 1d6+1 damage in the middle there...was this because you weren't sure of sling damage? 1d4.

1d6+1 was for sling damage against large opponent, which is how I had read sling bullet damage on page 20 (assuming Alex was able to acquire bullet ammunition).
So should my macro be (1) 2d4+1 for all sizes, or (2) 2d4+1 and 2d6+1, or (3) 2d4+1 and 1d6+1d4+1?

oops, apologies. I misread. 2d4+1 and 2d6+1 is your macro
