Number 11 is thankfully very dry, so you do not expect giant toads this time around. The door is open, and inside the walls are painted black (unlike the others where fresco where placed on the walls. Inside the actual 30x30 room is a broken sarcophagus, with vivided, detailed bas relief skeletons dancing in the underworld. the actual sarcophagus appears to be empty.

Moving towards the mound lorde smugly remarks "I Told ya #11 is where all the loot would be, all checking out the others did was cost a man his life!"

Once they arrive lorde will cautiously enter the mound with his crossbow ready.
He urges Rusky to stick by his side.

If there is no immediate danger the noble man will begin looking for traps.

"You know, I've read about these kinds of tombs, and they have normally have some nasty little things hidden right in plain sight..."
Lorde will begin and hopefully complete saying this as he searches for traps.

You do not detect any traps. both along the outside and the well decorated tomb area.

Behrun casts his weary eyes over the contents of the room, ignoring Lorde's remark and idle chit-chat as the noble searches for traps. After Lorde is finished, Behrun will ready his bow, placing an arrow in position and he will ask the noble: "Find anything?"

"Nope, looks like this place has already been stripped clean."

Lorde will lean against the wall and lower his guard while the party decides what they want to do.

Well, this one was a bust, says Agathon, looking about the empty barrow. Perhaps the barrow marked 12 on the map will be more fruitful. After a pause, he frowns and adds, Assuming we can get in, that is.
How do we know you're not a donkey-brained man?

The other mounds, are they being depicted as having caved in entrances, or just doors that are merely closed? Or will the group just have to find out?

"Indeed," Rukellian says in reply to Agathon, "Most of the other barrows, save the main one, seemed to be sealed off in some manner." Looking back towards to rest of the group, he gives a bit of a smile and says cheerfully: "for many of our party, they will be happy to know that if the barrows are indeed sealed, that means that the treasures inside have not been plundered...probably!"

Gorek examines the black painted walls, looking for irregularities in the stone surfaces as he runs his fingers across the walls feeling as well as looking for anything that would indicate a lever or hidden latch.

Performing the same type of inspection on the sarcophagus, Gorek pays particularly close attention to the stonework. "What a depressing job making a sarcophagus must be, eh?" the dwarf asks of no one in particular as he studies the coffin looking for any deviation in the surface.

{OOC} Should of been vivid....

Looking at the Skeletons on the sarcophagus, you see that one of the heads is not the same as the others, it is slightly larger then the rest, and after careful examination, you realize it is a button. What the Button does when you press down on it is a guess...

"Well, hello there." Gorek mumbles to himself, almost as if he was speaking to the sarcophagus. "I wander what you do." The dwarf examines the skeletal relief closely, looking for any indications of trap. Once satisfied to the best of his ability that the button will not end up killing him (at least not immediately) Gorek gives the button a firm shove with the palm of his hand.

A rumbling sound is heard, as the sarcophagus Rolls away, revealing stairs leading downwards(!!). It is dusty, but you see footprints in the dust of the stairs.

(Congrats!)

Alerted to the sound in the background, Rukellian turns around and notices the dwarf's handiwork. "Well shoot, to think that I was about to walk away from this," he ends with a chuckle!

Quite proud of his stone-working prowess, the dwarf observes the sarcophagus move to reveal the dusty stairs. With a stifled chuckle, Gorek says, "Well, well. Who knew that skeletons were going to lead the way for us to find some hidden treasure?" His smile turns to concern as he notices the footprints on the stairs. "Hmmm...someone's been here recently." he says as he gestures with his axe at the evidence in the dust.

OOC: Is it possible to tell how big the foot prints are? (human-size? smaller? larger?)

Almost jumping from the sudden rumbling when the staircase appeared, Lorde lets out a laugh "Told ya this place would be good."
He moves towards the staircase while unloading his crossbow "...and It looks like I owe a apology to our resident Dwarf. I guess being careful enough to check a empty sarcophagus is a pretty handy when you're adventuring."

Lorde would be willing to head in first but he will search for traps as he goes.

"Excellent find Gorek," Behrun smiles faintly at the Dwarf's perception, "Go on ahead Lorde, I trust your good eye for traps will lead us through."

OOC: What sort of space do we have to work with? Wide enough of a path for 3 or do we need pair off or even single file? If possible my character will stay near the back or middle of the group.
