Greystone sucks in his breath as Darkstar goes down. "Maybe this is why the other scouts never returned," he thinks to himself as he swings wildly with his knife...

Initiative [1d10] = 5
To Hit, Long Knife +1 [1d20+1] = 11+1 = 12

The sound of the wolves buckling bones as he slams it to the ground invigorates the already berserked half-orc. Turning around hastily he looks for the nearest adversary to conquer and unfortunately for her, the she-bitch drew short straw!

In three long strides Nok rushes right by a recoiling Cole and launches himself at the were wolf.

To hit#1:[1d20+1] = 3+1 = 4
To hit#2:[1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16

Damage:[1d4+4] = 1+4 = 5

Hedge, the daggers don't have any bonuses to hit do they? Not that it'd have helped with my first attack roll.

Tarrin cursed quietly. The wolf wasn't going down, but they were dropping like flies. And now Adain was bleeding out, without even having a chance to hear that he was the new king.

He was going to have to trust everyone to not get dead this moment. That included the last standing barbarian, but Tarrin figured he'd be one of those honor above reason types who wouldn't mind dying for his king. Which he would be doing, even if he didn't know.

Disengaging from the wolf that had bitten him, Tarrin moved over to Adain and quickly began binding wounds.

((ooc: Move to Adain. Spend round making sure he doesn't bleed out.))

Battle of Malar's Fist - Into the Werewolves' Lair 10
Initiative Order: Nokrugh (4), Cole & Greystone (5), Dorn (7), Werewolves/Wolves (8), Tarrin (10

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4139998/

The sound of the wolves buckling bones as he slams it to the ground invigorates the already berserked half-orc. Turning around hastily Nokrugh looks for the nearest adversary to conquer and unfortunately for her, the she-bitch drew short straw! He charges past Cole and slashes at her with the magical knife (+1) given him by Tarrin. She ducks under the first attack, but the second one catches her in the stomach, nearly killing her! (6 pts)
And Cole charges right in behind Nokrugh, and buries his hand-axe in her skull! (13 pts) She drops like a sack of rocks, but then gets up and shakes off the blow as if it was nothing!
(You need magical/silver weapons to damage her  )
She growls and slashes at both Nokrugh and Cole, but the companions avoid her sharp talons.

The wolves in the cavern snarl and howl, and the werewolf leader, Feldar, roars in fury and they attack with renewed savagery. Greystone slashes wildly at Feldar with his knife, but the werewolf grabs his wrist and pulls him close...biting into the elf's neck and shoulder! (8 pts) http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4140002/

Dorn swings his sword at his wolf foe, but misses the beast and it likewise lunges at him and he fends it off. The other wolf, its muzzle covered in Gorn's blood, charges Cole and Nokrugh, leaping at Cole. But the ranger, sensing the attack, delivers a right cross to the wolf's head, knocking it down! (9 pts)

Tarrin moves Adain's side and begins to bind the barbarian's wounds...effectively stabilizing him and keeping him from dying. But his satisfaction is short-lived because from down the hall comes the sound of something heavy, something big, and something angry running toward the chamber!

ACTIONS!!
(And don't forget to roll INITIATIVE!!)

Current Stats:
Cole - down 5 hp
Darkstar - down 18 hp - dying
Dorn - down 4 hp
Gorn - dead
Greystone - down 8 hp
Tarrin - down 2
Tath - dead
Adain - down 20 - stabilized
King Gundar - dead
Worg - dead

Initiative [1d10] = 10

Oh, boy... Not looking good...

To Hit, Long Knife +1 [1d20+1] = 16+1 = 17

Damage, Long Knife +1 [1d3+1] = 2+1 = 3

Pulled in so close to the werewolf, it is almost impossible for Greystone to miss. He easily slips the long hunting in between the ribs of the leader.

That's one, Tarrin thought as Adain's wounds stopped bleeding out. He glanced around, shaking his head slightly at Gorn's mangled body. No help there. He made his way towards Darkstar. The elf was taciturn and aloof, but he'd also been the first person Tarrin had encountered after his magic went wild, and he didn't want to see him die. Leaving the other elf to distract the werewolf, he crouched down beside Darkstar and did his best to make certain he wouldn't die.

If he's able to do this in the same round, then...

As Greystone fights for his life with an obviously powerful foe, the grasp of the werewolf's paw around his forearm gives him an idea. Out loud, he shouts,"Help me cleanse this place of evil! Please!"

In his mind, however, he envisions roots punching out of the ground and entangling the giant werewolf in front of him. He has no idea if it will work, but it's worth a shot.

Darkstar feels himself get hit and he feels the heat of his blood pouring from his wounds. He can hear the sounds of fighting as he lay facing up, only on the edge of consciousness. In his head he can hear the voice of his father speaking to him in a voice too low to make out. The pain of his wounds begins to slowly fade as darkness creeps closer and closer at the edge of his vision.

Battle of Malar's Fist - Into the Werewolves' Lair 11
Initiative Order: Tarrin (1), Dorn (2), Nokrugh (3), Cole (5), Greystone & Wolves (10)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4143747/

Leaving the other elf to distract the werewolf, Tarrin crouches down beside Darkstar and does his best to make certain he wouldn't die. His efforts are rewarded after several seconds when Darkstar suddenly coughs and blinks, trying to focus on his savior. (Darkstar at "0" hp & stablized)

Dorn and Cole attack the wolves, but are unable to hit the nimble beasts. Nokrugh, however, steps in close to the female werewolf and drives the magical dagger under her chin and into the brain, killing her almost instantly! http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4143762/
In her death throes, she screeches and sprays blood all over the berserker's legs as she begins to revert to human form.
Her death sends the wolves and the werewolf leader into a frenzy of rage! Dorn is barely able to fend off the wolf attacking him, and Cole takes a wound from the wolf on him as it leaps and bites him in the shoulder (2 pts).

Feldar, the werewolf leader, leaps at Greystone, slashing the elven scout from neck to nuts, nearly gutting him with its sharp talons! (8 pts) http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4143766/
Greystone cries out in agony, but still manages to slip his long hunting knife between Feldar's ribs! (3 pts)
Feldar grimaces and snarls, "Gonna eat your fracking face off, meat!"
Greystone tries to get away as his mind envisions elemental help and he shouts, "Help me cleanse this place of evil! Please!"
@Greystone:
You feel the bracelet constrict slightly around your wrist and incredulously you smell fresh earth and the "green" of the outside world...and you think, even though you are in incredible pain and close to death, you think you hear, in your mind, the words > "I come..."
As Greystone's shout echoes off the cavern walls, a large stone comes hurling out of the side tunnel and strikes Nokrugh in the side, flinging him into Cole! (8 pts)
An Ogre enters the fray and after looking at the carnage, it roars a challenge and charges!

ACTIONS!!

Edit: I forgot to mark Rani as dead on the map, but I noted it below. Will correct in the next post.
Current Stats:
Cole - down 7 hp
Darkstar - down 18 hp - dying
Dorn - down 4 hp
Gorn - dead
Greystone - down 16 hp
Nokrugh - down 8 hp
Tarrin - down 2
Tath - dead
Adain - down 20 - stabilized
King Gundar - dead
Worg - dead

Feldar (werewolf leader) - down 16 hp

Greystone tries to swing at the werewolf again, but is unable to connect, probably due to the racking wounds that cover his body at this point...

Tarrin glanced at the stabilized Darkstar, then at the reeling Greystone, then at the ogre. This was getting ridiculous. Time to try something foolish. Reaching into the pouch the druid had given him, he concentrated hard. Each bean had a resonance, something he could feel after his many long hours of studying wild magic. He focused on the resonance of the bean he grabbed, bringing it into sync, then quickly pulled the bean out, placed it on the dirt floor, and scooped more dirt over it. A quick sprinkle of water from his waterskin and it was done. He had no idea what was going to show up, but he was fairly certain it would be helpful.

OOC: Also, Darkstar has the jar of Keogtom's Ointment in his pack. That could get him up and back in the game... and be used on Greystone when he (*sigh*) goes down...

Dagger thrust through the she-bitches brain Nokrugh screams in ecstasy while violently ripping the dagger from her, letting the body "thud" to the cave floor. Turning to find his next opponent..."whack!" He feels what would normally be a crushing blow but in his enhanced state barely nudges him. Looking over to who ever through the stone his smile turns malicious as he tosses the magical dagger at Coles feet, calmly walks over to where is bastard sword lay and picking it up launches himself at the Ogre:

To hit1:[1d20+1] = 11+1 = 12
Damage:[1d12+4] = 4+4 = 8

To hit2:[1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18
Damage2: [1d12+4] = 9+4 = 13

Battle of Malar's Fist - Into the Werewolves' Lair 11
Initiative Order: Tarrin (2), Greystone (3), Nokrugh, Ogres, Wolves (5), Dorn (8), Cole (10)

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4145049/

Planting the bean was an act of faith in his talents, and Tarrin just hoped he was right - that the bean would produce something helpful and not some demon from hell! Sure enough, almost as soon as the water seeped into the dark soil of the cavern, the bean sprouted...a rope! A rope growing right up toward the ceiling disappearing into the shadows!

Just a few feet away...Greystone tries to stab the werewolf again, but the pain in his body inhibits his attack and he misses. Flinching from the death blow he knows will come, Greystone twists and tries to get away...and does so just enough that Feldar only shreds his clothing and not his flesh!
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4145062/ (Dammit!)

The wolves attack Dorn and Cole, but again the beasts are unable to latch onto their prey. The Ogre roars and tries to smash Nokrugh in the ground, but the enhanced berserker avoids its spiked club and lunges at it with his bastard sword. His first attack misses, but his backhanded swing opens up the Ogre's stomach, threatening to spill its guts on the cavern floor! (13 pts)

Dorn finally slays the wolf attacking him, but Cole misses again. The young barbarian hears Feldar snarl behind him and turns in time to see something out of the stories:
The bracelet around Greystone's wrist shines with a greenish glow and gnarled roots burst out of the walls...and latch onto Feldar! The roots pull the werewolf leader off of Greystone as he claws and bites at them to no avail. They pull him almost to the point of tearing him apart, lifting him in the air and pinning him against the wall.
The roots around the altar on the southern wall extend as well, tearing into the stone and earth, ripping the altar into chunks, taking the mangled body into a fibrous embrace. The entire cavern shudders under the power...

Actions!

Current Stats:
Cole - down 7 hp
Darkstar - at "0" hp & stablized
Dorn - down 4 hp
Gorn - dead
Greystone - down 16 hp
Nokrugh - down 8 hp
Tarrin - down 2
Tath - dead
Adain - at "0" hp - stabilized
King Gundar - dead
Worg - dead

Feldar (werewolf leader) - down 16 hp; held by roots
Rani (werewolf) - dead
Ogre - down 13

Now that he had Darkstar stabilized, Tarrin could put his power to work. Flexing his hand inside his hold gauntlet, he murmured a prayer to Shaundakul and sent healing power into Darkstar. Some of his wounds closed, and his eyes flared open.

In that case, Greystone sheathes his knife and attacks with his silver arrows from a safe distance...

Greystone attacks Feldor with silver arrows (two attacks). (1d20+3=22, 1d6=2, 1d20+3=22, 1d6=4)

(sorry for the edits; trying to see how Invisible Castle works for Greystone 'cause his US rolls are not Scottish, and it's been a while since I've used that site...)

Darkstar snaps back to reality aa the healing magic flows through his body. Still in a large amount of pain, he winces as he springs up to his knee. Seeing the werewolf that nearly killed him tied up he fires two silver tipped arrows at it quickly.
