OOC Chatter
Re: OOC Chatter
axis57 has decided to join us! He's got a character up, Orram of Addershire, a thief you'll be meeting shortly. And who I'm going to make a post for right now.

welcome axis57!
Re: OOC Chatter
Are we meeting Enoch's character(s) too?
Re: OOC Chatter
Enoch has sort of gone dark in regards to this game. I've reached out to him via PM, and if he wants to play then yes, you'll be meeting one of his characters shortly. (Either thief or bard, his option.) That PC will have been dragooned into "teaching" the goblins, too! And will be part of the "deal" you're making with Salub.

Welcome Aboard axis57!
Re: OOC Chatter
My plan is to introduce Enoch's and Axis57's characters as "guests" of the Goblins. Neither is "The Wizard" and both would be going on the little "find the totum" adventure with the rest of you.
I'm hoping both (or at least one) of them are still planning to play with us and will jump into the thread this weekend.

Getting Notifications for Posts
FYI, for those who don't know how to setup Notifications by email.
Note: There seems to be a problem with some email providers not passing on the email notifications all the time. GMail and Outlook seem to be bad about this. GMail seems to be working for me, though.
1. Go to Front page where all the Forums are displayed. index.php
2. Click on UCP (top of page or left side depending on your device)
3. Click on Board Preferences (top or left)
4. Click on Edit notifications options (left side of page).
Now to actually subscribe to a Forum.
1. Do the above and then...
2. Open the Forum you want to Subscribe to, and scroll to the bottom of the page...all the way down.
3. Click on Subscribe Forum and the text will change to Unsubscribe Forum.
4. You should be subscribed to that forum now and will receive notifications on all
posts as you set in the settings above until you click again and change the text back to Subscribe.
To See Which Forums You Are Subscribed To...
1. Click UCP and Overview at top of screen
2. Click Manage Subscriptions on left sidebar.
You should also see a notification at the top of the Forum itself showing how many posts have happened in forums you are subscribed to.

Thanks.
Re: OOC Chatter
You can move and keep it going, but if you switch to another action the Detect Magic will end.
Also, keep in mind that the way I'm playing things neutral can draw from what good would call evil, what evil would call good, what lawful would call chaotic and what chaotic would call lawful. You could run into anything in a temple to Ord. Expect the weird.

I understand. I've been dealing with lawyer appointments one day, doctor appointments the next, etc. Doctor put me on a new medication that I've not adjusted to very well yet, so my brain and body are a bit off.

Sorry, trying to figure out how to roll dice. Can't find it in the post tag stuff along with dialog, ooc, etc. Should I be looking somewhere else?
Re: OOC Chatter
Click the big gold die at the top ofnthe browser. Or if on a mobile browser, click the menu on the top left and choose "die roller." Either takes you here:

Just to add that you will need to set up a separate account to login on the dice-roller site rather than the account you use here.Marullus wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2024 9:20 pm Click the big gold die at the top ofnthe browser. Re: OOC Chatter
What Marullus and shaidar said! But Heck! You can roll manually and just tell me what you rolled, I'm the gullible sort that trusts his players.
Or, if you want me to roll dice for you, just say what Orram is doing and I'll roll to see if it succeeds or fails. I do that in most games I run anyway.

Ok, thanks! I think I'll roll physical dice since it will help me learn Shadowdark. It's my first time with the system. And I'm definitely no cheater. Bad rolls can be just as fun as good ones.
