I haven't had to encounter a dragon in a while. Draconians I've faced a lot especially in that Dragonlance game I was in last year.

This new encounter I don't suppose anyone here has heard of Mongrelfolk/mongrelmen?

Yup, they are in Spearmint’s Barrowmaze game. I remember them in some module years ago but can’t remember which one. Very cool either way.

These are encounters not in the module I can say that much. I like to make stuff up like the snake oil salesman that was a fun encounter for me. I hope you all enjoyed that goofy encounter.

It was fun. I prefer that to the magic shop in a tiny village, which never made any sense to me.

Been sick for 6 weeks upper raspatory infection. I now have covid. new meds and have to stop cholesterol meds. Quarantined for a bit then mask for 5 days.

Alright, so this encounter is a bit of a two parter in a way. So what I'm going to do is ask for a surprise roll from anyone that in the woods near the concealed camouflaged door leading into an underground passage/tunnel. I got the idea from the Vietnam war oddly, enough. Roll me a surprise roll/Alertness check.
