Garrant the Gaunt

Garrant is a tall, unusually gaunt, middle-aged human male with black hair and beard. He started his career as a cleric of Boccob, until he contracted a magical curse/disease that stole his strength. While he barely survived with the churches help, it was not possible to restore his body. He retired from the active clergy and with the blessings of the church he started training as a MU. Over the years of his apprenticeship he regained a little of his strength, enough to heed the call of adventure when it returned.
