Fucking gods damn piece of shit armor! Fuck. FUCK!!!
Yarl screams as his frustration boils over. He whips his club around and puts everything behind it hoping he can finally damage the animated hunk of metal.
Before following with a swing from his short sword.

Re: Harborside Hospital - Sanctuary of the Dead
Lower Mausoleum...Dented Armor
In the tomb below the hospital, the companions come together...with devastating effects!
Ambergris nets a beat up suit of armor and rams his spear home...holding the armor away from him as it flails and strains, trying to bash his face him. He holds it just long enough for Lesh to send a bolt of guiding light directly into the armor's eye slots, blasting a hole clean through and out the back! It teeters and falls with a loud crash!
Tommy feels a bit better and as a cursing, enraged Yarl bashes the lone suit of armor still attacking, Tommy finishes it off with a blast of eldritch energy. Like is armored companion, the suit teeters and falls with a crash to the stone floor.
All is quiet now...except for laboring breathing...Yarl still cursing under his breath...and the unsettling sounds of a tomb.

We are pretty beat up and for spellcasters, running low on effective spells. We need a long rest somewhere secure before pressing on.
Can we make a portion of this hospital safe or retreat back to safe houses?

yea, we're pretty beat up, lets go and recover a bit, hopefully the city watch can maintain the space we've cleared and go from there, lets secure the doors and get out of here
Tommy will do what he can to block the doors and start to move out,

Lower Mausoleum...Taking a Breather
Unanimously deciding to move back and rest, the group of companions make a slow but steady retreat. Lady Wen and Bobb take responsibility for Keever's body, with Lady Wen hoisting it over her shoulder and Bobb carrying his friend's weapons. Once out of the room, Tommy does his best to secure the door, and then the group goes back down the long hallway to the room of tombs where most of them cowered in fear. There are several crypt doors still closed, but the door where the wights were hiding remains open. Just north of it is the door leading back into the original mausoleum chamber where they first encountered the deathlock wights; the door is closed.
Where exactly did you want to hole up? Do you want to take shelter in one of the crypts? Or go back to the original chamber of the mausoleum where the rubble and tombs were?
If you start around page 4 of this thread and scroll back you will see the maps.

Some of us are pretty beat up and a serious hit could put us out of action. I prefer a safe place for a long rest. Even in a safe ward of the Hospital above.

Lesh is in need of a long rest as well.

Harborside Hospital - A Great Day to Be Alive
Leaving the tomb, the companions head for the main level of the hospital. Passing them on the way are eight members of the Fist, led by a young Manip they do not recognize. He gives the group a grim nod and leads his men into the lower mausoleum, barking orders for fire and light and setting up a perimeter of defense.
Up the stairs and into the upper hall brings almost instant relief to tired bodies and aching muscles. Awaiting them are several young clerics from various faiths, all sent to help in this time of need; their differences set aside for the common good. They are escorted to a newly opened room on the side of the hallway, and are surprised to see a familiar face.
"Took ye damn long enough!" growls the gruff Halfling apothecary. "Did ye bring anything back with ya I can use fer my experiments?" Seeing the dead body of Keever, Willow's face softens a bit as acolytes come to take the body. Bobb plops down in a chair, exhausted.
"I'm afraid all we brought back are ourselves," Lady Wen says, sighing deeply, finding a chair for herself.
"Good enough," Willow grunts, walking over to Lesh and grabbing the shaman's arm. "Good to see ye, my friend. Find a place, a chair or a bed, and these young 'uns will take care of ye."
Lady Wen grunts as she tries to remove her armor. "What...day is it?" she asks, wincing.
"Hell if I know!" Willow says. "A great day to be alive, I reckon. That'll have to do."

Re: Harborside Hospital - Sanctuary of the Dead
Yarl feels nothing but relief as they get back upstairs. Fighting the dead and fighting the living are two very different things.
When he sees Wen trying to remove her armor he steps over to help before he thinks it through. Leave it Wen, I got it. Its bashed to shit an' gonna be a bitch to get off yerself.. He reaches for the straps before he flushes red with color and stops. Errrr Lady Wen I meant. Ahhh, if ye need the hand yer, uhhh Ladyship. The armor is, ummmm, bent...
Yarl quickly looks around to see if anyone noticed how stupid he is.

Lady Wen chuckles at the kingpin's flushed face and bumbling attempts to apologize.
She pats his arm, "It's okay, Yarl. Some help," she winces, trying to lift her left arm, "would be appreciated."

Lesh returns Willow's greeting with a few soft clicks and then follows his instructions and takes a seat.

Ambergris
"Sometimes the ladies appreciate an extra bone to help them along." he says, full of innuendo of course, invoking his mage hand cantrip to assist if required in undressing the paladin from her tight squeezing armour.
it takes the form of a boney left hand of course and judging by the smirks, one could imagine that the hook-handed whaler might still feel certain sensations as it fiddles with straps and belt clasps.

Willow watches the boney hand do it's job and Lady Wen even raises an eyebrow in surprise.
"I bet that comes in handy with the wenches at the docks," she muses with a smirk.

Yarl works to help Wen out of the armor and is more than a little annoyed with the magical assistance.
He looks around to see if his Rats are about.
