Xenos thinks for a moment then nods

Tuurma looks at the new group as they pass by. She greets them with a broad smile (covered head to toe in half coagulated blood and gore).

"Hey travellers, what is your opinion of Rel? If you are at least indifferent, care to pay a visit to the Grotto? I know they're very keen to meet someones that can assist them."

She pauses for a bit.

"...oh, this? Don't mind that. We had an incident with a crocodile, I think they call it? Anyway, it won't bother us again, no need to worry."

Anyway, what happened with that strange woman back at the oasis? I trust you didn't make anything you... or we, would regret, did you?"[/dialog]

"I am aware only that the one called Tamat healed me. No deals were made with me personally for the return of my life, though one could argue I am indebted to her. Her interests suggested there is a secret faction of the Esquimaux-Ixian slaves that wish to overthrow their masters. Tamat wanted us to discover the source of the noises in the desert, thinking this is related to the faction."

Kang then shrugs, his face as inscrutable as ever. "I tire of this city and its endless distractions and misery. I walk in the desert would make for a nice diversion. Who knows what the desert would reveal."

Cyril nods noncommittally to the sage and turns to Tuurma. "I've wanted to visit the Grotto for sometime. Who would like to join us?"

One of the newly arrived trio stares at Tuurma and her macabre spackled attire. The man is clearly Moorish, though he has startlingly blue eyes for a typical desert dweller.

After hearing her comment, he moves closer to speak with the group.

You can post here in this thread now to avoid further confusion. I was only trying to show that the Tower is basically in the Bazaar.

Kain smiles at the question. "Rel, my friend, is the god of thieves and all-around sneaky stuff. Not so much violence, that's someone else. Rel leans more towards non-confrontational thievery. Takes your money while showing you a good time. I've always found followers to be very friendly, maybe too much so."

He appraises the group, lingering on the esquimaux furs and bloody blue hair, before addressing the Ixian in Thracian. "Good morning, Sir. How are things going for you today? You've also picked up a following of outsiders I see."

"I am Kainaxarthos, and if I'm not mistaken, I think we may find some business together. Care to talk?" He glances at the tower and the guards. "Maybe somewhere quieter?"

He bows casually to the bloody woman. "A crocodile? Fascinating! Did you collect the skull for a trophy? I believe it would look becoming on you."

The warrior greets the newcomers. "It seems we're many now.

Some of us didn't have the best of experiences with Rel. But that's and old story now.

More business together, you say? Well, once we get our money, we can go to a tavern. I'm up for something hearty."

The third member of the other party speaks as well.

The Kelt glances at the Pict and frowns, until she focuses on the woman covered in blood and gore. She just stares and wonders aloud, "What the hell is that?"
Then she sees the Ixian and she gives him a long look up and down. She nods and murmurs, "Much better."

Xenos seems to be getting more attention all of the sudden, making the young man cringe slightly.

Xenos pockets 14 of the golden coins before handing them out to his companions.

"Fourteen coins each, leaving two which we should spend on a celebratory drink, I think"

He then turns to the one who spoke to him in Thracian, replying in the Ixian dialect

"Yes, it is quite the gaggle. I'm always interested in business and opportunities, why don't you join us at the tavern as my friend suggested."

Although it is difficult to tell with his face partially covered by his head cloths, Ceana thinks he smiles at her remark.

Tuurma eyerolls upon seeing Ceana courting the Ixian.

"Hey, what happened to sisterhood all of a sudden? You will have time for him later, I assure you."

The to Kainaxarthos next.

"Thank you. I guess. Believe it or not, I ended up like this helping some of the slaves, but then...nevermind, things got out of control, but the crocodile is very dead now, and I believe i happened to crush its skull into quite a lot of pieces with a very large rock. I actually don't remember exactly. How about you, how come you look so clean by the way. I can smell your fragrance from all the way over here. Is that....musk?"

Finally to Maxon

"The beautiful man is right, I believe. However, I have a personal interest in visiting the Grotto. I have heard the rumors of the followers of Rel being overly friendly and deceiving, but I mean, how much worse can my situation get really." god I'm so going to regret saying that

"Cyril here is a decent man. I'm glad you're considering coming along Cyril. Anyone else interested? You know what, let's discuss that over at the tavern as Xenos suggests."

She will go back to the Last Plank and if no bard is present, offer a few songs and verse or just play her flute in the corner.

The druid basically ignores the bloody Amazonian as she looks around the group. She does respond, however, by saying, "We are not sisters. Nor am I interested in your leavings." She glances at the Ixian again and says, "I could use some ale. My throat is full of grit from this desert hellhole."

Maxon nods at the explaination. The Trickster, of course. Master Holland would have me doing one-hand pushups for days if he knew I'd forgotten something that simple.
Maxon stays mostly quiet, trying to learn about the others by observation.

Kain motions for others to lead the way to the Last Plank. "Ceana is right, of course. We could definitely use a drink. We may not be sisters, but that just makes things less...complicated, doesn't it?"

He extends his arm for Tuurma. "Your nose is as fair as your skin, I think. Perhaps you would escort me to the pub. I do, as you say, look clean but I'm not opposed to getting dirty. This town has a reputation for pickpockets and other vulgarity and I'm sure that you would provide an excellent ward against such things."

Kain corrals the group. "To the Last Plank!"
