He nods at Tuurma, still on her knees. "What do we do with her?"

"She can stay with us unless you think you will need her for protection."

Tuurma suddenly comes to and gets on her feet with a groan of pain. She walks over to pick her sword up (and yes she sheaths it).

"I'm alright, I'm alright."

She has a quick look around and then shakes her head.

"I'll walk back with you. Don't worry, I won't kill anything unless you tell me to. Did you...what did the slaves say?"

Suddenly she remembers Kang and looks at his body.

"He will survive?"

She appears to have ignored or missed other questions or comments during the last few minutes.

"I am no healer, but he I think has a chance."

I prefer to go trying to sell this odd rock than stay in the Oasis camp.

"I can stay with Kang. It would give me some time to also chat with good man Drest here."

He again sits on the sand and this time takes out a small tattoo kit and proceeds to clear away the skin on his left hand of dirt and sand, exposing a few very small letters or symbols.

"Sit, Drest - we are not going anywhere and I daresay that Kang is not either."

"You may be the only person ever to call me good anything. Not sure that will last long." Drest says with a chuckle.

Drest and Xenos cut out a few of the crocs undamaged organs, wrapping them up in a sack for ease of carrying, perhaps. The claws and teeth are also scavenged, along with the badly damaged head. The slaves eagerly take anything offered to them, several now cutting up any remaining chunks of meat.

Valkrina suggests they take the black chunk of whale puke to a specialist, unsure where one would actually be here in Xambaala.

Cyril assures the group that he should be able to get Kang back on his feet again, but they will need to wait until tomorrow when he can pray for new gifts from the chaotic Azathoth.

It is decided that Drest, Cyril, and Tuurma will stay behind to look over their fallen comrade, while the others go back into town to attempt to find a buyer of croc liver and a stinky black rock.

Though the slaves appear grateful for what you did for them, they continue to avoid getting close or even making eye contact with Tuurma. They completely take over the care of Kang, keeping him comfortable and wiping away dirt and sweat where necessary. It becomes obvious that they care for the man, probably even more than any of you do. A very old and disturbingly thin Esquimaux-Ixian woman with wispy white hair finally makes her way to the unconscious monk, looking his wound over carefully. "You need healer for friend?"

Tuurma is about to answer the woman when she remembers that all of the villagers seem to avoid her. And she can't really blame them.

She keeps on sulking for another 20 minutes, at least.

"We should go back to the dock area and ask for an apothecary or an alchemist. Or maybe s temple could be interested in buying these organs and animal parts."

OM can Tuurma change and follow the others back to Xambaala? I was about to narrate that at the same time you posted that it was decided she would stay.

"This is true, Grandmother. I can help Kang. But let me ask, is there another nearby that can get our friend on his feet? It would save us a bit of a wait and I've been told some do not like the healing that I can provide."

Akhilleus raises an eyebrow at the priest.

"What do you mean some people don't like your healing? How can anyone not like having their wounds healed?"

After some time, Tuurma eventually comes around to her normal pleasant self again, though she still looks a horror covered in dried blood and gore.

Akhilleus suggests another trip to the Docks area to find what they seek. Xenos make a different suggestion altogether.

Cyril assures the old slave woman that he can heal Kang in the morning, but she seems to have another idea. She pulls on the Priests arm, trying to lead him to an area at the outskirts of the Old City. "Tanta know other. This way. Tanta help."

"I mean, I can't imagine she'd be lying at this point. I think we should go with her and at least see what she means. It's probably close by anyway."

"I wouldn't go like that if I were you. You're all covered in blood." He points at the water.

To Xenos: "That seems like a better idea than wandering in the docks."

"Should I stay with Kang? I trust the slaves with him but if someone comes along I am not sure what they would do to protect him."
