Same question here: how do you want Thorily to enter?

The easiest way if you have two groups would be the create a separate thread: Gnoll Expedition (for that trek if it continues separately) tab it as Announcement not a topic and let new characters arriving in Thatchum post in the Thatchum thread.

I have voiced my own opinion to start in the village rather than parachute into an existing trek. We could still agree as a group to follow up on the same Gnoll problem of course.

So I have never really played as a Cleric before, what deity should mine worship? Are there any that would align with this adventure? My Cleric is Lawful Good.

It says that the church of St Ygg looks down on the older gods. Could make for an interesting relationship between Adran and Olo :)

At 4'ft tall, Olo is probably used to being looked down upon.

True :) That's why he's into the god of salt. He can make a big pile of it to stand on.

So are we just waiting on tpj to post a decision regarding his ranger Rhys?

I’ve got this situation with my delusional mother-in-law involved in an act of violence and I’m dealing with the fallout right now. Just letting you know I’m not posting until this is all resolved.

Here is an update. My mother-in-law is being committed and the place is in a different part of the state. The wife wants to live near her so we’re in the process of selling our house and buying/moving into another one. I’m putting this game on hiatus until I’ve settled down in our new place. If at that time the interest is still there for all of us, we’ll start again where we left off.

That's a tough situation and really you've had a tough run since you kicked this game off. Best of luck with everything.

Update

Things are still in flux with The Move. I’ve had time to look at things from a distance and to be honest with myself and in turn with the rest of the group. I’ve realized that this game is not fun for me; that I took on too much with two separate groups. With PbP I can’t seem to find that sweet spot that motivates me enough to carry on when running games and it’s not fair to the players.

Or maybe the whole soul draining situation with my mental mother-in-law has got to me in ways only a therapist would recognize. Right now I just want to play characters.

I totally understand. Family can be wonderful and/or draining. I have a similar situation. Take care of yourself and I look forward to playing with you player to player.

If you don't kill his character first!

Sure. I understand running and playing have stresses in time, creative energy and motivation. Lots of things can add to that, player dropout, slow posting, players posting an action that is opposite to a linear plot, TPK's.

Thank you for the effort.
