Okay, you are taken to the limo and get inside. After a short drive, you find yourself almost near to where the ambush site was. A smallish looking building appears ahead of you. The limo drives into the parking lot and to the back of the building. You see a double door on the back side and mister Constantine gets out of the limo and gestures to you to follow. You are lead into the building and find a rather bare inside with a receptionist desk and an elevator door. Constantine heads to the elevator and swipes a card into a computer slot. The elevator opens and everyone rambles inside. Constantine pushes a button and you feel yourselves going down. When the elevator stops and the doors open, you see a massive underground complex. "Welcome to my world."

Kane looks around and tries to keep his bearings and identify any potential exits as they move further in.

"Impressive."

"Agreed, Very interesting."

Hawk takes in the view, "Nice! I've always been a fan of underground bases." he says with a grin.

would only be better if it was inside a dormant volcano.

Shadow will keep his head on a swivel since the tangos knew he was coming here, we cant rule out an inside job

You are taken inside the complex and shown around the facility. There are numerous screens with techs looking at what are apparently satellite images of the Earth in various places. There are also what appear to be labs enclosed in glass walls where you see work being done. As you move further into the facility, you notice signs in various places indicating access to other areas like cafeteria, hangar bay, medical, recreation, etc. You are escorted into a conference room and asked to be seated. Constantine looks at each of you; "Well, my friends, what do you think about my setup?"

"It's very impressive, Mr Constantine, although to be honest I'd love to have a look around your hangers, but I guess that can wait. You said there was a sister that needs rescuing? "

Kane

"Yes very impressive indeed. I assume there is some sort of medical facility here?"

Its certanly is impressive, yes you said something about being hired to rescue someone?

"Rescue of a sister indeed. My client was on a commercial flight from the Azores to the Suez canal. The flight disappeared from radar south of Lybia. We have been unable to locate the crash site from orbital satellite imaging, as it is such a large area to scan. So, as official employees, shoot me some ideas, please."

"Have you been able to get any info from commercial flights that cross that area? Any of your own or allies birds in the sky? Have you checked the local HAM radio air waves for chatter that could be related to a crash or anything unusual or unexplained?"

Up to now Hawk has been pretty laid back, but at the offer of a challenge, he seems to come alive:

"When you say disappear, I'm assuming you mean exactly that, it just vanished? Was it being tracked by a primary or just a secondary radar at the time? What about any transponder? Have you ruled out somebody hacking the ground-based air traffic or transponder systems? What was its last known altitude and location? Do you know the exact make and model of the plane?"

I'm assuming air traffic control in 2050 is generally the same as it is now.

"Do you have access to the radar and other data from the time of the disappearance. I would recommend that we make a simulation examine all of the possibilities."

Says the guy with good Computer Programming and Systems Operations skills.

"The information my client gave to me said the aircraft disappeared from radar. However, the information could be inaccurate. The political situation in the area is chaotic at best. Most of the area South of Libya is total chaos. Starvation, constant warfare, genocide. Look, my facilities here are at your disposal. Feel free to jump into the fray and get me some answers. Fast!"

"OK, let's start looking. The first thing we need to determine is how it was being tracking when it vanished. The answer will indicate significantly different scenarios, from a catastrophic explosion to simply switching off the transponder. Once we know this, we can determine likely search patterns and further avenues of investigation. There is also the question of why, who was on that plane that made it a target?"


OK, we need to find out whether it was being tracked by a primary radar, which means a physical reflection, or a secondary radar which means by transponder, which could be switched off or even hacked to provided incorrect info. Hawk has systems ops and his piloting skills, but I'm not sure what needs to be rolled for this.
