Skiiratch shrugs, spits on the wall again (for good measure) and leaves to go see what anyone else has found.

When he notes some of the others huddled around an entrance, he doesn't stand around but for a minute or two before deciding there are other things he can be doing while a few people attempts to gain entrance there.

He begins searching the mound for another entrance. Two false entrances so far, who's to say this third one isn't a false entrance, as well?

The Dwarf will harrumph a few more times at the stone block, as if expecting his annoyance will intimidate the stone into moving. He won't waste time trying to read McCloud's disappearing grafitti; he can't read Dwarven, much less common. When Skiiratch decides it's time to leave, he will follow, grumbling all the way.

Upon exiting the tunnel and noticing Quinn & Bindle's new discovery, Urdak trots over to see if he can be useful. 'Nudda mine?

The yellow square on the map marks where the box is protruding from the wall. See the illustration previously posted.

Your continued search uncovers nothing yet.

Razluki peers uneasily down the hall. "This morning, I communed with my God and prepared incantations to find traps. I can only do so three times, so the moment must be chosen wisely."

"Surely this must be the entrance. Why else would it have been painted so grandly?" Erodhon conjectured, peering through the doorway.

"Though they must think us fools if we are to believe that path leads safely down the passageway. More likely it is meant to lead the less wary to a quick doom."

"You there, thief. Ply your trade and find us a way down this passage."

No he has no luck yet, and there is not much of the cliff face left that has not been explored.

The hour is growing late. The sun hangs low in the sky casting long shadows. The biting insects seem to have doubled in number and their incessant assault on your flesh continues.

Bindle returns to the original campfire helps to get it started again if it has gone out and has his evening meal. Shortly after he dozes off to sleep planning to assist more upon the next morning.

Bindle going to bed? well McCloud will suggest then that we stoke the campfire up and plan for the morrow! In the meantime he'll study up on his arcane skills and mention that it would be prudent for Razluki to bless those who have injuries now and pray over the night for new spells. No point going in to a 'tunnel of terror' half injured.

Erodhon will grudgingly consent to expend his healing spells as needed. Though the wounds his companions have received today are far beneath his prodigious skills :) .

I'll probably adjust his clerical spell list to include any trap finding spells he might be able to know for the morning.

No one look for trappins here now? The Dwarf seems more confused than normal as members of his party appear to be leaving the recently found tunnel and prepping for slumber. Maybe look tomarra then 'fore we enter.

So do we have a group consensus to rest and then enter the tomb in the morning?

Sounds good to me.

One more full nights rest before we're off to our doom.

Assuming the party can rest under the threat of Dwarven snoring.

Bindle would be finishing his meal and starting to close his eyes. His slumber will likely be started before many of the party even arrive back at camp.

Quinn returns to the campsite to rest with the others.

OOC: Quinn will use his cure spells to return himself (and any of the others who require healing) to full strength. After the rest period he will prepare new spells for the following day.

McCloud will enter his tent and go through his equipment, repeatedly setting it out and putting it back in order in his backpack and side pouches (showing a touch of OCD). When finally settled he'll light some incense smelling candle (fresh heather with a hint of thyme and whisky) and get out some arcane study books to brush up on his mage skills. With the early light he'll greet the dawn with some 'target' practice on his bow, nailing some tree from 10yards away and 'shadow' fencing.

After some thought he will make a pitch at some 'tomb raiding strategy' and suggest we try to move in two groups where able. No point one person just wandering ahead or others not being able to put skills to the test, each group clearing a room or section before the other leapfrogs it and does the next and so forth? Perhaps a good MO to equalize party skills could be the following:

Erodhan (mage/ cleric), Tics (thief), Bindle (monk..fighter/thief), Quinn (bard...fighter/ thief/ druid)

Skiiratch (mage/ thief), Razluki (cleric), McCloud (fighter/ thief), Urdak (fighter).

any thoughts or protestations?
