He smiles warmly.

"Well well, isn't this a situation, huh?" He pats Richard's shoulder. "You are welcome to join our band warlock. We were all prisoners of this cult up until recently, just like you. Now, this woman with whom you laid, can you describe her? I have a bone to pick with an evil female enchantress living here, and alas, I am afraid to say warlock, that I think you might have been under her spell."
"It might well be the same woman," Richard says. "Krooda is her name and I, indeed, met her at a party thrown by the town's Wizard Guild." He goes on to describe her appearance in deep detail. "But I think that I would have known if I was under...." The Mage stops and seems to be thinking intently. He realizes that although he remembers meeting Krooda, he doesn't remember actually coming back here with her, nor exactly where he is, nor how he got from her very elegant chambers (below? he thinks) to these levels other than being chased by her goons. "Well, that little minx. You may be right there, Hill Giant." He again looks down at the black-clad bodies. "Yeah, that's definitely someone else. The three I got to know well enough to get their names were Klod, Gire and Ramsud. The way they talked, now that I think about it, I got the impression they might have been slavers. More proof that she might have had me charmed. I wouldn't stand for that."
"There is no spoon."

Richard Firehand

The Mage makes a shallow bow to Korin. "I appreciate the offer, Master Dwarf, but the truth is that there is nothing in the pile that I would need." He puts forth his hand, "Richard Firehand, at your service."
"There is no spoon."

Thorelf throws a glance at Richard's extended hand as he's reaching for Korin.

"Firehand, huh?"

Then he snaps out of it.

"Richard, I am Thorelf the Fair. ~performs gracious bow~ Me and Korin are companions since some time, the other gentlemen here - Tiny and Eaton - I just recently met as we all escaped captivity together."

He clears his throat.

"These particular dead ruffians with bandanas here are The Chavs. They did not assault us directly but behaved in a very uncivilized manner. Then there is the goblins. And finally a group of bandits called The Svarts, presumably led or hired by your previous mistress. I think they might have been the ones chasing you initially."

"Richard, this scroll here I found on a Chav seems to be mentioning a faux wizard. Could they by any chance be referring to you? Meaning no disrespect."

Thorelf to Tiny:

"Now I guess we continue back to the cells where the cultists fled?"

Thorelf starts walking in that direction, i.e. following the route they set out before this commotion with the Chavs and the Goblins.

Korin shakes the offered hand and bows his head "Korin McGruffin at yer service. Firebrand er Firehand. Almost got yerself a right dwarvish name there." he smiles and chuckles.

Sorry for not being in the game for some time. I haven’t received any notifications .

Eaton

Looking at the new member with some concern. Then addressing him.

Mr, you do imply that you have a great fortune with females. Are you a beneficiary of the gods? If so, witch of the gods are giving you this powers?

Apologies. Very crazy week at work last week. Should be better now.

Richard Firehand

Looking once again to Thorelf, Richard says, "As I mentioned, I am only recently parted from my master, but I think 'faux wizard' would be incorrect. I am capable of casting arcane spells, learning new ones, reading magical script, with a little preparation, and anything else you would expect a true mage can do."

Grinning at Korin's words, Richard adds, "Maybe I should change it to Forgehand. Then start braiding my beard and drinking better beer."

Replying to Eaton, he says, "I do not know as I would go so far as to say 'Beneficiary of the Gods', but my looks do me no harm and my tongue is, at the very least, silver plated."

Is Thorelf showing his current version of his map? Can Richard see it?
"There is no spoon."
