POW 14v
[1d100]=92 This was almost the most Hooter thing that could have possibly happened.
Hooter's Rock-corion is hanging limp from the strap around his torso but something else is most certainly at full attention as he stands there drooling at the queen in Dutch, mumbling like a wide eyed idiot, completely lost in the sight of the beyond beautiful woman in front of them.

I give up.

Doh! You know, that registered for a split second when I read it, then I forgot to mention. So OM identifies that song lyric lift for Advantage rolls on his next skill-improvement opportunity!

Battle of the Bands - Round 4

The battle of the bands was interupted by the magnificance of the Queen, as the musicians and crowds fell silent in her presence. Her thrall rippled through the arena.

Mel, wrapped in the wire of the Menudolorean, squirmed in many places as he drank in her beauty with his eyes. Band-mates Hooter and Janx were likewise entranced, the deadly fight before them momentarily forgotten.

Only Alice seemed uneffected, her female willpower repelling the attraction of the Queen.

Two Menudolorians were down. The two heavily wounded bounty hunters around Janx were enthralled by the Queen. That left only the slightly wounded Menudolorian near Mel, who seemed to keep his head straight and his other one in his armor.

The one Menudolorian faced the one TPKer, as Alice brought her drums to bear and the bounty hunter his laser. Scamp's sonic thumps buffeted (8 HP) the Menudolorian seconds before his shot fired, disrupting his aim. A laser bolt that would have hit her chest instead grazed her head, dropping the drummer into unconsciouness. The Menudolorian was heavily wounded.

The Queen's influence dissipated and the bands and crowds regained their freewill. TPK saw their downed drummer.

Actions for Round 5!
The Queen was a wildcard event, potentially throwing things either way depending on the fate of the dice. But it turned out very symetrical.
- Three Menudolorians under Queen's thrall? [1d100]=87, [1d100]=77, [1d100]=28 Only the third one succeeded.
- Rnd 4 TPK vs Menudo init [1d6]=4 vs [1d6]=4 Simultaneous. It's between Alice and the one, so Dex will be the edge and Alice is higher by one.
- Rnd 4 Alice damage [2d6]=8
- Menudo to hit [1d100]=40, dam [2d6]=7 Hit for 7. Due to Alice hit, downgraded to unconsciouness.
- The three remaining Menudolorians are heavily wounded.

Janx stepped out of being enchanted by the Queen who made Raquel Welch look plain. He feels terrible. "Dang, you horndog, you let Alice down while you were trying to imagine the Queen topless!" He reflexively grabs the spare pick that he always keeps behind his belt buckle (he has a tendency to drop picks during gigs) takes aim at the remaining Menudoloria, and plays a high E, with plenty of string-bending vibrato.
The high E string, which fired a sustained sonic beam for the length of the note. The open E on the high E string fired a beam that lasted longer.

Mel breaks into the South Boston version of the Worm, shimmying his way towards Alice to see if there is anything he can do for her, despite his current dilemma.

As he does this, he suddenly remembers his other instrument, his V O I C E.

He immediately goes into his own private version of Hair of the Dog by Nazareth, letting the last of the Menudoloreans know how he really feels about them.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Average your Int. and Pow., multiply by 5, and roll percentiles! The lower the better.

Hooter snaps out of it (barely) and realizes what is happening. And he gets angry. You are not be doing that to our zone Alice you... you... blikjes oude tonijn!

He grabs up his squeeze box and let's loose with pure organized discord on the Menudoloreans.

Play Accordion He lets loose a howl of Dutch Rage fueled by sex, drugs, and Rock and Roll a la Ozzy!

Battle of the Bands - Round 5

The three heavily wounded Menudolorians struggled against the equally fatigued TPK. Derek was dead, Alice was unconscious, Mel entwined.

Mel shimmied over to the prone Alice and was glad to see she was still breathing. Mel remembered how Gedalexnet had used ░T░h░e░ ░V░o░i░c░e░ , but the TPK lead singer's mind and vocal chords couldn't achieve the meld to bring forth the power. Instead it was just his voice.

Janx deperately played the open E on the high E string, which fired a sustained sonic beam for the length of the note. It rippled through the air and pounded against a Menudolorian, cracking his armor and throwing him back to the ground to lay unmoving (13 HP)!

Hooter was in a rare moment of rage against the cans of old tuna. He howled as he pounded out a discordant deluge of sonic anger. The waves rocked and rolled against the Menudolorean (6 HP), smothering the smooth boy-pop, cracking his armor. He was on his knee, barely alive.

The sound barrage upset the Menudolorians aim as they fired their laser pistols, missing guitarist and accordianist.

Actions for Round 6!
- Mel can continue to try to invoke ░T░h░e░ ░V░o░i░c░e░ with another roll; the right font provides a -10% ;) . What is it you're hoping to achieve with it?
- Rnd 5 TPK vs. M. init [1d6]=6 vs [1d6]=6 Simultaneous
- Rnd 5 Janx damage [2d6+2]=11+2=13
- Rnd 5 Hooter accordian damage [2d6+2]=4+2=6
-Rnd 5 2 Menudo attacks [1d20]=16, [1d20]=14 Uggh, I confused rules. It's percentile. Converting those d20's to d100 by muliplying by 5 makes it 80 and 70, which both miss.
- As of the end of Round 5, two Menudolorians remain standing, one heavily wounded the other even more so.

Mel squirms and gyrates, trying to free himself from the silky chords wrapped around him, probably only making things worse.

Thinking about some other chords, the frontman takes a deep breath in and stares at their armored enemy before letting out a crescendoing 4 octave rise scream from somewhere deep in the dark recesses of his THC caked diaphragm.

Trying to hit just the right frequency, like an opera singer shattering a wine glass, he holds the scream in their direction, hoping to crack their shiny armor open, and maybe their skulls as well.

Janx considers sparing the boy band boys. But it's too risky. If he tells them drop their weapons rather than shooting, they might fire and kill another bandmate. He quickly turns the volume knob on his axe from 10 to 5, no 6, the way his hero David Gilmour turns his volume up and down mid-solo. He hopes a hit will knock the less-wounded Menudolorian out, rather than killing him.

I dislike dragging combat with slow posts but couldn’t help it...

Battle of the Bands - Round 6

The two standing Menudolorians, armor cracked and their jangly boy-pop music only intermittently and statically playing on their armor speakers, struggled to stay up.

Janx, revealing that he was a lover not a fighter, turned down his guitar volume and lashed out another open E on the high E string. The sustained sonic beam repulsed the Menudolorian. Janx thought the bounty hunter still alive.

At the same time, Hooter kept up his accordion assault, directing it at the same Menudolorian as Janx. The music vibrations shook, rattled and rolled the the bounty hunter into the ground. Janx thought the bounty hunter dead.

The entwined Mel looked upon the prone Alice with anger and concern. She became the focal point for the TPK singer to channel his mind and voice. He tapped the frequency tabula, transcended the phonemic and phonetic, combined the semiotic and semantic, syntactical possibilities clarified mental ambiguities.

░T░h░e░ ░V░o░i░c░e░ rose up from inside Mel as he channeled a crescendoing four-octave rise scream from somewhere deep in the dark recesses of his THC caked diaphragm. The mental-blast-cum-scream flowed around and inbetween the Menudolorian’s brain. He spasmed, dropped his gun, and collapsed unmoving.

The battle was done. The arena crowd screamed. The Queen on her transparent floating platform lowered down. Her beauty shocked and awed. She spoke...
