Viktor's sister and consort of the death knight, Sir Sigismund of Mara Veche.

Sir Sigismund, Viscount of Mara Veche and Elector of Ghuldavia
The representative of the Undying Queen at the Imperial Court. The hero of the Battle of Yharvok Field. A death knight.

Till Emmerich
A Councilor of the College of Sorcery, and an estranged former student of Viktor's. He was often a rival.

Trium

Caillech the Ascended, the Living Goddess of Trium
Formerly, Caillech the Witch. Still a tall and unnervingly beautiful Fomoira, but now one with skin that burns like fire, eyes that scintillate, and a mouth speaks with the voice of ten thousand souls lost in the Deluge. She is mistress of the Pleasure House of the Ten Veils. She wears Amaethon, the 9th Ring of the Fomoiri, the Ring of Winds.

Jeraud the Bronze
Councilor of the College of Sorcery and Magister of the Runebereich. It was Jeraud who captured Viktor when he used the Steinring to gain access to the grounds of the Runebereich. He is bald, clean shaven, and his left arm is the Bronze Arm of the Nasr Jemdet, a potent magical artifact. He holds the Cup of Maat, an enchanted cup that will not allow one who drinks from it to tell a lie.

Otavia Falkenthal, the Duchess of Loherangrin
The Ghuldavian noble who rules the duchy within which Trium stands, but with no influence over the city itself. Reportedly, she is a vampire.

Yaundis Lupercal
A merchant magnate and a member of the city council. He is also believed to be a member of the Eight Eyes.
