Argh! I meant west in my last post.

Lance continues to take the sites moving ever westward toward the crippling snowstorm.

Superman Turn 2: [1d5]=4

P.S. Dick Dartwell would make a great name as well.

CS T2 Dash [1d5]=4

The reporters call in Turn 2 rolls:

Play Order - Turn Roll - Name - Color - Assignment & Card #
#1 - 4, lands on telephone - Grog/Dash Dartwell! - Blue - Plan to Destroy Bridge #7
#2 - 1 - DadsAngry/ Sam "Scoop" Stern - Red - Ship Sends S.O.S. #4
#3 - 3 - Rex/Rex - Green - Bank Robbed of $50,000 #2
#4 - 3 - OgreMage/Dirk Headstrong - Black - Lois Lane Missing. #5
#5 - 4 - Mant/Lance Langston - Yellow - City Crippled by Storm #8

The intrepid news hounds sniff their way closer to their stories. Dash Dartwell! comes upon a telephone booth, and attempts to call the Man of Steel!

For the Calling Superman Spinner, it’ll be a 1d6 to correspond to the six alternating outer edge red and yellow spaces starting with the red north space the arrow is pointing at in the picture below. That space is #1 on the die and results proceed clockwise. Note the “S” insignia is upright.

“On my way once I rescue a kitten,” says Superman. Before he utters the last syllable he is there.

Superman Turn 3: [1d5]=4
Finally picking up the pace. Down two and two the west.

Scoop Calling Superman [1d6]=4
"Hey, Superman it's me Scoop. Gee willickers I was goofing off eating hot dogs and malt sodas when I should have been investigating my story. The chief is going to have me for breakfast if I don't make some progress. Do you think you can get me to the sinking ship fast?"

The A.P. makes the call on Turn 3 rolls:

Play Order - Turn Roll - Name - Color - Assignment & Card #
#1 - 3, lands on telephone - Grog/Dash Dartwell! - Blue - Plan to Destroy Bridge #7 - has Superman
#2 - 4,4 - DadsAngry/ Sam "Scoop" Stern - Red - Ship Sends S.O.S. #4 - has Superman
#3 - 2 - Rex/Rex - Green - Bank Robbed of $50,000 #2
#4 - 1,2 - OgreMage/Dirk Headstrong - Black - Lois Lane Missing. #5
#5 - 5 - Mant/Lance Langston - Yellow - City Crippled by Storm #8

The reporters near their assignments. Sam "Scoop" Stern dials Superman, who being so fast can be in two places at once and appears. Scoop admires Supes red cape. Dirk Headstrong thinks Metropolis taxi drivers need better training.

Image

Lance Langston also stops off at a telephone booth and places a call to the Man of Steel. Mant please roll 1d6 for the Calling Superman spinner. Note: If Mant is successful, DA and I will roll the spinner to see who gets higher. The loser has to give up their Superman to Mant.

Turn 4

The bulldog reporters pound the pavement for 1d5.

Lance quickly dials up the Man of Steel, “Hey, Supe! We need some help down here on the southwest side of town. This blizzard is getting out of control! Please hurry!”

Turn 4 Continued

While we wait for Dirk’s progress, with Lance successfully engaging Superman, the two current Superman holders (Dash and Sam) roll. The lower roll gives his Superman to Lance.

The copy boy takes reporters’ Turn 4 rolls:

Play Order - Turn Roll - Name - Color - Assignment & Card #
#1 - 3 - Grog/Dash Dartwell! - Blue - Plan to Destroy Bridge #7 - has Superman
#2 - 1 - DadsAngry/ Sam "Scoop" Stern - Red - Ship Sends S.O.S. #4
#3 - 3 - Rex/Rex - Green - Bank Robbed of $50,000 #2
#4 - 3 - OgreMage/Dirk Headstrong - Black - Lois Lane Missing. #5
#5 - 1, on telephone booth - Mant/Lance Langston - Yellow - City Crippled by Storm #8 - has Superman

Dash hops on a plane (+1 space.) Sam shops to fill the void of Superman’s desertion. Rex can see the bank robbers car. Dirk hears Lois Lane screaming nearby. Lance calls Superman. Hold the press!

Superman 5 [1d5]=5

He calls for the Supe, but gets no reply? (Didn't you say calling SM was a d6 roll?)
