Jrec moves well clear of the vault and takes cover.

Maddox attempts to blow open the vault door with the det. cord.

However...

He doesn't have any skills in demolitions, so the effort didn't work out so well.

The cord slips, and it cuts a steaming ~12" hole in the floor. In addition, the cord made a mess of the door's locking mechanism. The door also has a hole in it. You think you might be able to pry the door open, or open enlarge the hole enough to crawl through. The area smells like burnt carpet, hot metal, and explosives.

Now what do you do?

Will look in the storage closet and see if there is more det cord.

"Maybe there's some tools in the air/raft garage that'll help get that door open," Jrec says. "I'm gonna go take a look".

Shotgun at the ready, he heads for the garage.

Ringar you look through the storage room (23), but that was the only box that contained det. cord. Do you look for any thing else?

Chiree will ask, Is there food somewhere, and water? (He is not fully grown yet.)

Jrec, you head over to the air/raft garage, where you will eventually will find repair tools. They are covered up by boxes of office supplies, and have obviously not been used in some time. You will find the tool you are seeking. What is it?

Maddox, what are you doing while the two above look for tools?

Giotto, you think the main computer will have more information on the station. What do you do?

Jrec finally unearths an oxyacetylene torch. He smiles and mutters, "Now this should do the job".

As far as knowing how to use it, he has Mechanical -1 and Int:B.

Returns to the kitchen with Chiree, he'll try to find or dial up some veggies and water.

Jrec: The roll is good on its own. With that, and some time, you will be able to finish up opening the vault door. Maddox can help.

Ringar finds the food autobot is working, and gets something for Chiree to eat.

Giotto, while you poking through the files, you get the full listing for the inhabitants of the globes, and what experiments are in progress. Some border on torture. Some experiments seem to be producing results and do not match the messages being sent out.

You realize that in the wrong hands, this information could pose a security risk to the Imperium.

Giotto will share his findings with the rest.

Maddox spends his time seeing if there was a way to open the door with the small hole he managed to create. Seeing Jrec return with the oxyacetylene torch, he gives up his attempts to settles in to assist Jrec with whatever he needs.

Get's back to the rest of the group with Chiree.

Interesting, Giotto. Is there a way to make a copy of the information? Might be useful and seeing as we are already breaking into a Imperium facility I don't think we can break many more laws...

Ringar will keep an eye out around the group as Jrec goes to work.

If Giotto can do something to copy the information off the computer he will do so.

Jrec, you remember seeing a bunch of memory sticks in an open box with the office supplies. You can have someone get several, so Giotto can copy information from the computer.

If the group successfully bargains with the Imperium officials, this data can be your ticket off this planet. Also, there is yet more information which would assist your case. Hint: You still haven't found out who/what is actually running the station and experiments, and why.
