- Take note of your Archetype’s Core Characteristic
- Distribute 510 points
- The Core Characteristic can be as high as 95
- No other ability can be higher than 90
- Luck: Starts at 65
- Sanity: Equals your POW
- Hit Points (HP): (CON + SIZ)/5
- Magic Points (MP): POW/5
- Damage Bonus & Build (Table 1, pg 23): STR + SIZ then lookup on Table 1
- Movement Rate (Table 2, pg 23): Compare DEX, STR, SIZ then refer to Table 2
- Choose either:

- (1) Pulp Talent & (1) Experience Package (Investigators HB pg 61)
- Calculate Skill Points
- Take note of your Credit Rating range
- Take note of your Occupational Skills
- Determine primary skills based on Occupation, Archetype, and character background
- Assign Skill Points as follows:
- Occupation skill points (based on occupation calculation)
- Archetype skill points (100 points)
- Personal Interest Points = INT x 2
- Credit Rating (CR): Assign skill points to bring CR into the range for your Occupation

- Key Backstory Connection
- Additional Details: Name, Birthplace, Gender, Picture, Cash & Assets, Equipment
