Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Korin goes back to checking the door for traps....grumbling all the while only thing heard is "Make up yer durned mind."
Find/Remove Traps 40% [1d100]=46
shouldn't have stopped me when I passed the check roll... Yes march order is fine by me with how Sastaz posted it.

ha ha I sort of hoped the last F/R T roll would stand
GM seems we have decided and await your verdict.

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Thanks for clarifying marching order.
The brave adventurers press on, further into the narrow passage, and reach the end, about 50' from the corner turning.
While Thorelf peers backwards, and Eaton declares his suspicions about Korin's cube, the dwarf successfully scans the area and can confidently say there are no traps at the end of the passage.
He does however find a handle on the left ("north") wall, about 1' above the ground. As for the right side: even for non-dwarves, it is easy to see that this part (the "south" wall at the passage end), was once a portal which has been filled in. So the passage ends in 1) a low handle on the left and 2) a blocked up portal on the right.
Actions!

Tiny
Tiny tries pushing on the blocked up passage to see how sturdy it is.
Open Doors (1-5/2) [1d6]=1
Note: this roll is good enough to open even a barred or wizard locked door.

Korin hands the cube over to Eaton, then tries the handle on the left that he recently found in the passage. "Yah all might wanna stand back, I'm gonna try the handle."

Backs away and put the cube into his backpack.

Thorelf stands back as well.
"Whatever is this place anyway?!" I have no memory as to how I ended up here. Some evil cult?
Thorelf throws a coin to the floor and mumbles something.

To bad that we didn’t get the unholy bald man. He seemed to be a high level cultist.

Having reached the end of the passage, the intrepid quartet look for exits. But even the mighty
Tiny
is not strong enough to shift the masonry on the south wall. The former portal is barricaded well, properly sealed with big stones and mortar. However,
Korin
has better luck when pulling the handle he found on the north side. <clunk-click>! A low door swings open, outwards from the passage. As the opening is so low down, and maybe only 3' high, to see where it leads one would have to kneel down or crawl through.
A gust of cool refreshing air wafts in through the low opening; thankfully blowing away the smell of sweat, blood and dried porridge that was getting to be a bit overpowering in this confined space.

Ehh, the passage is quite smal. It would not be nice if we go in and the door closes. Maybe we should jam the door so it does not shut? I have some great arrows and a bow that we can use.

Korin moves in first and keeps moving forward towards the fresh smelling air.

Thorelf will let his torch light up the path for Korin as much as possible, leaning over to look into the opening as Korin has entered.

Tiny
Tiny will crawl in after Korin. He will keep his two-handed sword point forward, sliding it along so he can use it as a spear if need be.

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
So marching (crawling) order intact: Korin-Tiny-Thorelf-Eaton

Korin calls back to the others "Hold up lads. Got a bit of a roadblock ere."
