We are already members of the hoppers correct? or is becoming a harper part of the storyline?

Yes, experienced Harpers too not just newly joined. They were investigating the Xanathar guild in Waterdeep.

OK time for some roles. Outcome is already decided but I would like to see the dice roller in action. Campaign ID is 845.

I will roll for the wolf. It is a check vs. rod/staff/wand at -3. A missed roll will give Fendt a favorable shift on the reaction table.
Wolf vs animal empathy [1d20-3] = 13-3 = 10 Fendt will a get a favorable shift on the reaction chart thanks to his ranger ability animal empathy.

Fendt roll 2d20. We will retain the lowest roll for the wolf's reaction.

Gowan needs two sets of rolls for find/remove traps and open locks. One set of rolls is for the desk and one is for the chest.

IE:
Desk
find/remove traps: d100 and d100 keep lowest roll. I think the macros is 2d100c1 .
open locks: d100 and d100 keep the lowest roll

How do you usually handle the rolls in your games? Post dice results with a description in a die roll thread? Post it in the game thread?

Chest
Desk
find/remove traps: d100 and d100 keep lowest roll. I think the macros is 2d100c1 .
open locks: d100 and d100 keep the lowest roll

[2d20] = 11
[1d20] = 5 [1d20] = 9

I let players roll them if they want for thief skills and post in IC action post.

Attacks, Saves & other check rolls players roll and post unless they are busy and need me to roll for them. I post all rolls except for the thief skills.

Yeah hopefully he is alright, but it is a bummer to see both his games end like this.
